Yesterday, I saw on Instagram, that Spotify has a Disney Christmas album. When I looked at the ad for it, it looks like a pretty good album. I didn’t have Spotify so I decided to put it on my phone so I could listen to this in my car. After I did this, I put it in a folder with my other music apps. This led me to wonder which music apps does everyone have on their phone or tablet. Give us your musical answer today……..

Which music apps do you have on your phone or tablet?
(multiple-choice)

* There’s a lot of music apps out there, so I can’t list them all, but I did put the top ones in the poll.

For Me….. The music apps that I have on my phone are SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify, Amazon, music, and iHeartRadio. The music apps that I use all the time are Pandora and Amazon music. I’m looking forward to trying Spotify for the Disney Christmas music I mentioned above. Pandora and Amazon I use at the gym all the time. I also listen to Pandora when I drive to see my daughter, which is 2 1/2 hours away and when I’m in the pool. I really don’t know why I have iHeartRadio on there since I’ve never looked at it once - I should just take it off. The only music service I pay for is SiriusXM.

None, have never used my phone for music. Tends to run the battery down if you use such apps.

I use Apple Music app exclusively now. I just like how it integrates with my stuff so well and being an "Apple Nerd", it just satisfies my need to keep things all "Apple-y".

I have used Spotify and Amazon music before when I scored some free trials, they seem perfectly fine.

I am a big fan of playlists and not things that are "radio like" that play random stuff (even within artists & genres), I like to know what to expect and when to expect it. Yes I am that weird.

My Spotify account works on the PC as well, if you're worried about that but do want to listen to something sometime.

Not weird at all! I enjoy making my own playlists in Spotify just like I use to love making perfect car tapes back in the "old days."

I listen to my car radio when going somewhere and a Youtube video on my computer once in awhile here at home.. DH has, I think, Pandora on his phone which we listen to when playing an evening game of Racko or cards. He even knows how to hook it up to one of those little round canister speaker thingies.

I have a number that Verizon just automatically sticks on there but the only one I use is UTubeMusic. I only listen to a playlist that I have downloaded the MP3s from a particular group I'm a patreon of so I get the MP3s for free. I don't pay for the service. I listen to it in my car through my speakers. The only time I listen on my phone is when I'm outside walking and that is through my headset. By the way, I also still have a CD player in my car and the group I like has a couple of CDs I also listen to in my car. I'm old, I also still have a boom box at home for CDs. To be fair, we only have that in case of bad weather so if the power goes off we can put on the local radio station for updates. At home, we listen to Sirius through our TV, we do pay for that and have it all 3 of our vehicles, two of which are free.

I use Pandora on my phone only when coupled with wireless Android Auto. I have about 5 channels that I rotate through.

None. Just what I’ve bought/ transferred to the iPhone. DD has Apple Music. Not sure what DH has but something. In the car , it’s the local stations, or phone.
I love music tho, so probably should get some apps

I don't have an actual music app, but I do use a stand alone MP3 player for podcasts and audiobooks.

I have the Amazon music app on my phone, doesn't get used much though.

I listen to music through Apple Music or SiriusXM. Sirius is mostly in my car, but I sometimes stream a channel on my computer or iPhone.

Like Kathryn, I like to keep my tech Apple-y and have older playlists in Apple Music, especially for holiday music. :santa:

I still have my iPod Touch that has MP3s downloaded onto it. I'm living in the year 2007, baby!!!!!
So is my DS12! He unearthed my old iPod Classic and uses it daily. He can bring it to school because it doesn't connect to the internet wirelessly (phones are banned). It still trips me out to see him with wired earbuds jamming to music.

100% me too!!

Amazon music (paid) and Apple music (to sort out my iTunes stuff). We had a free 3-month subscription to Spotify that I cancelled at the end, but they keep wanting me to re-up at $5 per month.

I have several playlists set up for Amazon music (Thanksgiving, Advent, quiet Christmas, jazzy Christmas, Disney, 1980s, etc.) that I can use on my Alexa devices that are all over the house. It's nice.
