I prefer pink grapefruit over yellow. Don't buy the juice, but I do enjoy a Paloma cocktail on occasion.
This thread has me reminiscing about my days in Arizona. We had a grapefruit tree and I would pick one fresh each morning my last 2 years of high school.
I strongly dislike grapefruit, in any form. Seems to be one of those foods people either love or hate. It just tastes awful to me, really bitter and vile. Apparently there is a scientific/genetic reason for this.
Love them both but can't eat/drink either any more because of interaction with a med. I take. I do cheat while at WDW and have the grapefruit cake at HBD.
I'm not sure I've ever had yellow grapefruit. I can only recall eating pink, and we don't get it often but I do enjoy it. I don't drink grapefruit juice.
I've noticed this at my local Meijer as well. Strange how I used to get almost all of my produce there and it was really high quality, and now it seems to be really poor.
I love pink grapefruit but like others here I can never eat grapefruit again
due to Rx that I take.
I miss it, I always found a cold 1/2 grapefruit refreshing.
I love both it doesn’t matter. I like to peel it like and take off the bitter outer shell of the sections and just eat the inner citrus pearls. When I do this at home my dogs stare at me and their mouths literally start watering and drooling because of the amazing smell. It’s the only thing they ever drool over.
