I remember having them occasionally when I was a kid. Just plain old rectangular shaped ones. From what I recall they got kind of hard when they cooled, and rather quickly. And we did have some Eggo waffles in the house at times when the children were young. I personally haven’t had a frozen waffle in many, many years.

Yes we buy them.
I only buy Multigrain/ Wholewheat (any brand) or Kodiak brand. I actually make waffles often, frozen are just a quick back up for busier school day mornings with my grandson.

We almost always have a box of Eggo's in the freezer. My favorite is the Thick & Fluffy Original. Followed by the regular Buttermilk.

We get a big box of Eggo from Costco. I’m not sure why, but the ones at Costco are better tasting to us than Eggo from another grocery store.

Really? And they are still edible? I would think, best case, they'd be really flimsy and gross. Good for you, I guess. It's really not that hard to make fresh waffles.
Nope, not flimsy at all. We use the food saver and while they aren't the same as fresh made, they are better than the store bought frozen ones. No, it's not hard to make fresh but like I said, I hate the clean up and we don't always have the ingredients on hand since hubby makes them from scratch and not a mix. When I was still working they were nice to take to the office and pop in the toaster oven for breakfast.

🙄 Well it's hard when we leave for work by 6am and are taking care of aging parents by staying with them 3 days a week while still working full time. So thanks for the judgment but yeah, I can eat a frozen waffle and enjoy it. Sheesh.

Uhh...hmmm...yeah...didn't mean to come off as judgmental. I just really didn't think waffles you made fresh then froze would even be edible. I don't even like the Eggo waffles once they've thawed out. If you've found a way to magically make those taste good then more power to you.
