I don't think that I've had an Eggo waffle in twenty years. But I used to love them slathered with butter and light on the syrup. If I want to splurge on that kind of food, I make it from scratch. :)

I don't eat them (for some reason, when they're toasting, they give me a headache), but I buy them sometimes for DH and DD.

DH likes the homestyle ones or thick&fluffy. DD likes blueberry. There's currently a big box of blueberry in the freezer that DD bought right before she moved back to college.

I will have the occasional Eggo (and only Eggo--no store brands). I top it with a little bit of Nutella when I get a craving for something warm and sweet in the evenings.

I am more of a French toast kind of person. The only time I eat waffles is when I am traveling and they are offered as part of the free breakfast.

I love waffles but I don't eat frozen waffles. I just make my own and freeze them if I have extra. I prefer the Belgian thick waffles vs. the thin ones.

Good thinking! Got rid of my waffle maker when we became empty nesters so it’s a diner item for me 🙂

Oh and forgot to answer before- just plain waffles with nothing baked in, thankee kindly.

We have waffles once in a while as a breakfast for dinner but DH makes them from scratch or a mix that has no dairy in it due to allergies.

I have frozen waffles in my freezer for the kids, but I haven't eaten one in ages. They like the plain ones. We've usually had the eggo ones (they have a Mandalorian one we get), but recently I've gotten Kodiak brand in order to add some protein.

I used to make big batches of homemade chocolate chip waffles and freeze them for quick morning meals, but the kids decided they preferred the eggo ones, lol.

We always have the blueberry ones in the freezer for the grandchildren but I occasionally steal a couple for myself!!!

I try to eat the whole wheat or protein frozen waffles. Used to like the blueberry and chocolate chip.

While we have had frozen waffles in the house in the past, my wife put her foot down, Scratch made only. Once in a while I know that buttermilk pancakes, waffles and biscuits are in the future when I see buttermilk in the shopping cart.
Not really supposed to have that many carbs (and sugar since we only buy real maple syrup) so pancakes and waffles are not a frequent item on our menu.

We always have frozen waffles in the freezer, usually the store brand. Hubby eats them more than I do but I do eat them maybe once a month. Homestyle. We do have a waffle maker and every once in a while Hubby will fire it up but I hate cleaning up after it so it doesn't happen often. When he makes them, he always makes extras and I freeze them.

Prefer to make my own, but I will enjoy a frozen waffle on occasion. DD live on the things when she was younger.

Really? And they are still edible? I would think, best case, they'd be really flimsy and gross. Good for you, I guess. It's really not that hard to make fresh waffles.

I don't eat them, but it's more that I just don't think to buy them, because my little godson only eats pancakes. They're never on my budget for the shopping list.

I'm an "other." I don't eat frozen waffles, but the resident 8 year old loves them. I buy regular, blueberry, and strawberry for him, usually store brand. He eats them all kinds of ways- sunbutter, sunbutter and jelly sandwich, cinnamon sugar, fried egg sandwich, topped with bananas, cut in sticks to dip in applesauce, and good old maple syrup. We don't do candy at breakfast so no chocolate chip anything here, or chocolate syrup, and I drizzle on the maple syrup so his plate doesn't turn into a swimming pool!

About the only time I'll eat waffles is at a hotel where you make your own, and even then, I'm not a big fan. They just seem like a carb-sink to me.

I have loved waffles since forever. Sadly, because of two reasons, I no longer have the frozen waffles. First, too many carbs, and second I have a very small freezer and every inch of space is filled with high protein foods.

When I am in a waffle mood, I make then from (semi) scratch with Kodiak Cakes high protein pancake/waffle mix, and make them on these Dash mini waffle makers that are only $10 at Target. I have two, so I can make two waffles at the same time.

The slather in butter was the best part!
