When you’re home, what is normally on your feet?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..I always wear my slippers first think in the morning and my indoor Birkenstocks all the other times.
Depending on what time of year it is, I will have socks on too. Right now - definitely socks.
Outdoor shoes are not allowed in our house, unless you’re a guest.

Slippers in Winter and flip-flops in Summer - we have indoor cats so barefoot is not an option!

I go barefoot most time - except once it gets cold - then I have to wear shoes but only because I have to potty my dog - if I didn’t have to go outside I’d still be barefoot as I hate wearing shoes - with that having been stated - my lack of footwear has contributed to me breaking both feet several times each and all toes multiple times both feet - so you can get an idea of how much I hate wearing shoes because if I did I wouldn’t have done this as much - my Dr has told me for years to wear shoes but my feet scream bloody murder like they are being held captive - it’s not that my shoes are not comfortable trust me I buy comfortable shoes as my feet require it since they have arthritis from being broken too many times - vicious cycle but my feet need to figure it out - they need shoes ! 🤣🤣❤️
Since it’s snowing I’m wearing boots and trust me they are NOT happy - they at least tolerate my sneakers but draw the line on boots - well 5 inches of snow with more coming out rule sneakers - so boots it is !! So I have a mental war going on - I know the winner - the dog - no potty in the house !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm usually in either my regular shoes or house shoes (slippers). I've never been one to really like going barefoot except for when I'm sleeping, and especially since we have a 5-year-old and never know what may have been left on the floor to step on.

Before the day really starts, socks. Once the day is going I have shoes on. Once the day winds down and I will not be going out its back to socks.

I wear socks around the house since it was recommended to me by my doctor (for a bunion) but before that I was mostly barefoot.

As for guests, they do take their shoes off when entering.

I prefer barefoot or socks, depending on the season, but I have a fallen arch in one foot so I need to wear my crocs just about all the time. If I am barefoot and on my feet too long, I end up with terrible foot and knee pain due to the fallen arch. I have regular crocs and fuzz-lined crocs. In summer, I wear the regular crocs; in winter, regular or fuzzy, with or without socks when I'm indoors. None of my many pairs of crocs is designated "indoor" or "outdoor," but we all know that when we come inside, we need to either remove our shoes or swap to something that is dry, so we don't track outside crap around the house.

Here in Maine, in the winter EVERYONE takes off their boots/shoes when entering someone's house, guests included- you don't even need to ask someone to remove their shoes! Some bring slippers, socks with grippy spots on them, or inside shoes to wear, some just wear their socks.

Slippers (with socks) in winter, flip flops in summer.

I don't like being barefoot or wearing just socks because I always feel like the bottoms of my feet get dirty regardless of how much I vacuum/clean the floor. I also have plantar fasciitis and heel spurs so I will wind up with a lot of pain if I walk around without supportive shoes.
