I think it’s safe to say that at one time we all parted our hair sometime in our life. Parts can be to the right, to the left or in the middle and besides making you look good, they also may reflect your personality traits. Take a look at the explanation below….

Now that you read the above, let’s discuss your hair part. So tell us today……

Where do you part your hair?
Are you male or female?
Do you agree with the characteristic traits in the explanation above?
(multiple choice)

*Left and right is your left and right
*if you currently don’t have a part, like my DH because he’s balding, vote where your part used to be.

For Me….,My part in on the left, and it’s been on my left since I was in HS. Before that, it was in the middle. I do not agree with the characteristic traits in the above explanation. I have the personality traits of middle part and the characteristics of right part. Below ⬇️ is me with my left part.

My hair part goes slightly to the right as I have gotten older.

Left part. While I don’t consider myself or my “approach” to be particularly masculine, the profile of logic, independence, drive and thoughts-over-feelings definitely fits! :wave2:

FWIW though, I didn’t cultivate the left-part, my hair just strongly falls that way naturally. I couldn’t make it middle or right part if I tried.

Depending on my hairs mood, I'll either part on the left or the right...so both, but never in the middle!

It's been a long time, Sandy, since I've had a part. But, if I can recall that far back, I think I had some bit of a part on the right. Here is my senior HS picture from 63 years ago. I can't see a part there. If I had something on the right, the description in the OP fits pretty well I guess

I don't and never have had a consistent part. I have always had longer hair and because it's curly, it does what it wants. Some days, that part may be towards the right, some days left, some days middle, and some days it's just a darn jungle that doesn't show any signs of anything resembling a part. Back in high school, in the days of huge hair, it was a lion's mane sort of style and intentionally no visible part. I also know people who part in all three main directions and none really embody the noted traits.

Female, left. When I was younger and was experiencing thinning hair along the part, I used to change it daily -- middle, left, right, etc.

Now that I'm...older...I just do it from the left because I really don't care and that's what feels most natural. I'd say I'm independent and driven, but a little more emotional than the left description says.

My hair naturally parts in the middle and it always has I don’t even have to comb it and it will part in the middle my hairdresser has been trying to get it to do a left part and I’m like you are wasting your time I agree with the characteristics but that just applies to me ymmv

Edit I don’t like it parted on the right or the left I like it right down the middle

I didn’t see widow’s peak listed.

Yes, it’s me. the fairest of them all.

I'm a woman.
I have always had a middle part.
Much of my life I've had full blunt bangs so a middle part is generally how that kind of style will lay.
I've tried a side part. I lean towards a right part when I have tried it but I for the life of me cannot train my hair to do it and I don't like products in my hair.
I do agree about my middle part personality.

My part is to the right of middle. This is where it naturally parts and I have never attempted to change it.

Some of the smartest men and woman I know have no part at all. The men are bald (some by genetics, some by choice) and the woman have hair styles with no part.

My hair is usually parted on the left, but today (coincidentally for this poll), I have it parted on the right. I have a new haircut and haven’t been able to style it well, so I thought I’d try a right side part today. It didn’t help.

Left part. While I don’t consider myself or my “approach” to be particularly masculine, the profile of logic, independence, drive and thoughts-over-feelings definitely fits! :wave2:

Same, my hair parts where it wants to and it is always on the left.

Most of the time I have no part at all, as I wear my hair in either a ponytail or bun with my hair combed straight back. I have a pronounced widows peak hairline, and sometimes a part isn’t flattering. The one time in my life I had shorter hair, I would mix it up, sometimes left, sometimes right, sometimes center, mainly to keep from exposing one section of my scalp to the Florida sun all the time.

No part at the moment, but when it was longer, it was either middle or left.
