5 total. Two while growing up (German shepherd/collie mix, Pekinese-poodle mix, both male)

Then two cocker spaniel males when we were married. Now we have a female cockapoo, and she's head and shoulders sweeter and easier than any of the other dogs.

I am allergic, so I have never had a dog. I tried the allergy shots, but they didn’t work on my pet allergies. I am more of a dog person than a cat person, for sure.

Never had a dog when growing up and still no interest as an adult. Not interested in all the extra work and friends who have dogs seem to have hair everywhere, no matter how often they clean/vacuum or brush their dog. What to do with it when everyone is gone all day during the week at work/school or when you go on vacations seems like a challenge also.

Grew up with cats and have always been a cat person. Never had a dog, though I don’t dislike them, and now have a “grand dog”who is a sweetie. :dog:

I grew up with dogs so I put 9-10. In our married life we have had two. Our last one was a long haired mini dachshund who we had for 16 years. We miss him so much but our lifestyle is not conducive to dog ownership. Now we are kitties all the way.

10. Growing up we always had 1-2 hunting dogs. My husband and I have been together 17 years and together have had 5 dogs. We currently have two 1 year old Boston Terriers named Hamilton and Sheldon.

I had 3 dogs in my life if you don't count my extended relatives...2 were adopted by me and the notdearH.
My parents are enjoying having my current dog around and they are sneaking her treats (she needs to gain a couple more pounds).

....a Sammie, name Morgana:

4.When I was a kid we had a German Shepherd named Rolf and an Irish Setter named Rusty. They passed when I was really young so I don't remember them very well. Then we had a mixed breed dog named Snoopy. I don't really talk about her because she got out of the house one day and I watched her get hit by a car and killed. I guess I was six or so.

The main dog I had was a Chihuahua/Fox Terrier mix named Freckles, who I got at six weeks old when I was 19. He was my constant companion for almost 17 years, and passed in 2003. My life situation has prevented me from having any more dogs, or I definitely would have another.

I have had lots of cats and dogs. My current dog, Zuri, is in the photo and we have two cats currently that rule our home. As a kid I had three dogs. A Labmix named Graceland, a poodle mix named Barney and a Husky named Bandit. As an adult I have had three more dogs, all Labs. Samantha, Libby, and Zuri.

Dogs of my very own, 3 (basset Hound, yerrier mix, chihuahua mix). As far as the "family dog" growing up a couple poodles, a chihuahua, pekingese, yorkshire terrier (which those were actually my mother's dogs).

Right now we have a "family dog" that is a some kind of a poodle/doodle mix type dog.

Cats have always been more "my thing" :duck:
