I loved the days of Disney Dollars. Giving and receiving those dollars were always a lot of fun. I was so bummed out when they were discontinued, but we still have some tucked away. How about you…..

For Me……Once upon a time, I gave my girls Disney Dollars as their allowance. This would then be their souvenir money when we went to WDW. My girls would have done anything for these dollars - LOL! So them doing easy chores was never an argument. Santa and The Easter Bunny also brought them Disney Dollars too. Since I’m a kid at heart, my mom would give me Disney Dollars for my birthday and Christmas. They really were a lot of fun! Today, I still keep one in my wallet - it’s been in there for about 20 years. I also have others tucked away - they’re fun to look at sometimes and remember all the great times with them.

Like slo's girls, my DS used to get them (in his Christmas stocking, Easter basket, from the Tooth Fairy...) whenever we had a Disney trip coming up. We still have a couple in a scrapbook.

Same here I have one stressed away somewhere I keep putting stuff someplace safe so I don’t lose it and then forget where I put it so I have it someplace safe I just don’t remember where
I really wish they would bring those back I so enjoyed those!!

Only got them from Disney, they were included as a perk when you booked a trip through Disney Travel.

I remember them but do not think I ever had any. And have none now. I did think they were a fun idea, as do many Disney things from the past were.

We got Disney dollars from using American Express to book our trips many years ago. I still have the jacket and the sweatshirt that I bought with the Disney bucks. They were the best thing Disney ever did.

We def gave some Disney Dollars to our kids over the years. I'd imagine there are a few around here somewhere.

I gave my last Disney Dollars to a friend a few years ago to get herself something and a gift for the child of another friend too. I also wish they were still being made. I would love to give my dad one as a surprise when we are at Disneyland God willing next May. I'm glad that some of you have happy memories of Mickey bills

I used to give them to the kids when we had trips coming up—like @PollyannaMom said in Easter baskets and stockings. And I would use them as a reward for good behavior or extra chores.

I think the girls spent them all, but possible there is one around here somewhere.

Growing up we never used Disney Dollars.
I think my sister may have gotten some the first time she took my niece.
These days we do give each other gift cards so basically today's ebullient.

I have two that are pasted in my 1992 scrapbook of my first Disney Trip ever. I didn't buy them to spend, I bought them for souvenirs.

I used Disney Dollars just because they were cute. I also gave my girls some for spending money on our first trips. I also bought some of then Disneyland 50th ones that I recently found when I was putting together my Disney guest room.

We used to give them as gifts to the children when they were young. I think I also received some from an online site once, their form of compensation.

And yes, there are still some hanging around.
