Calling all Amazon shoppers……Prime Day is here. For some of us this is a big deal. So tell us….

For Me…….I’m a maybe. I have lots of lists on Amazon with many things in them. If something is a good sale item that I need, or would be for a gift, then I will buy it. I will not be buying just to buy because it’s Prime Day - I know several people that do this. I’m not a big, “just for the heck of it”, type shopper anyway - I need to have a reason and the item has to have a purpose. I’m trying to get stuff out of my house, not bring more stuff in - LOL!

Like you, have a bunch of stuff, just window shopping. Last prime day, prices on a bunch of stuff didn't see much difference if at all. Even though it said PRIME DAY 47% OFF. Two days later, it was the same price.

I just checked two items in my cart. Same price from a few days ago, but now they have a PRIME DAY DEAL banner on the product page.

Last Prime Day I told my DH - I don’t know where all these awesome sales are, because they aren’t on any of my stuff.
I have A LOT of items saved in all sorts of categories, and like you said, very little change. I thought - Amazon, you gotta do better than that to have me buy. We’ll see what happens this year

Same as you: Maybe. I'll be watching the deals. If something good comes up on something on one of my wishlists, or if I see something that would make a great gift for someone, then I'll buy. However, I'm not specifically looking for anything, and I'm not planning to buy just to buy.

Thanks for asking Dan - it was a rough and scary night. We had constant tornado sirens for an hour - very unsettling. We did have some BIG wind that made me very nervous about some trees, of which I still need to check on in an area I can’t see from the house.

How about you and Marie? Everything ok by you?

We're in Naperville-horrendous storms Sunday that left us with at its height 3 feet of water in the basement.What a mess.Dumpster coming on Wednesday-fan and dehumifier working overtime.

I have a list (or two) that I'm going to check to see if any of the things on it are on sale. I did see a walking pad that I've had my eye on for under my desk that's 50% off, so that may get purchased today.

I had New Balance sneakers in my cart. They dropped $30 today (almost half off), so I bought them.
I also got 2 gift cards.
Unless kids also need sneakers, that's probably my shopping for today's Prime Day.
