Well folks…..since July 29, 1999 many of us have enjoyed Rick n Rollercoaster. Some of our children don’t know WDW without it (my kids being some of those kids). As many of you know, Aerosmith is being replaced with The Muppets. As to be expected, many people are not happy with this :sad2:. Those people aren’t ready for more change at WDW, and these’s been a lot lately. There are also people that are excited about the change ::yes:: and eager for it to happen. Regardless how people feel, that change is coming. Disney has announced that Rock n Roller Coaster will remain the same throughout the rest of 2025 and The Muppets will make their Rock n Roller Coaster debut in 2026. I know some of you haven’t been on this ride, but you may still have an opinion about the upcoming change. So give us your thoughts on this change today……

Have you rode Rock n Rollercoaster Starring Aerosmith?
What is your opinion about The Muppets replacing Aerosmith?
(multiple choice)

For Me……The last time I rode Rock n Rollercoaster was June 2023. When we were in HS this past March it was down most of the day. When it reopened we were about ready to leave for EPCOT and decided to pass riding it this year. We love this ride, but are bored with the Aerosmith theme, so we are very excited about The Muppets taking over this ride - I think it’s going to be very fun! I’ve never been a huge Aerosmith fan - they’re ok, but not a band I listen to on my own like Bon Jovi or Def Leppard. I am a huge Muppets fan and have been my whole life, so I’m a little partial towards the new Muppets theme.

I will say this I don’t ride roller coasters but with that being said my family absolutely adored this ride so I have spent a lot of time waiting for them inside having to listen to Aerosmith it was a band I cannot stand but I thought the theme and everything was really cool on this ride But I agree it’s been around for a really long time and it’s probably time for an update I’m sure I’m gonna get flamed for saying that And I am one of those people that don’t like change but something still need to be updated and changed I like the Muppets I like them a lot and I hope DISNEY does a really nice job with this I’m very sad that Muppet vision 3-D Is gone that had been around for a really long time and I just wasn’t as popular as it used to be because it was never updated so hopefully DISNEY will do a really nice job with this and make this a really cool ride I of course will not be riding it is I don’t do roller coasters but I’ll be very interested in hearing about it

I ride R&R when we go and I’m really excited for the change. Aerosmith is fine I’m not opposed to their music, but it’s dated. I love the muppets and I’m happy to see they will still exist somewhere at Disney World!

Well I wont miss the preshow -its kind of painful to watch after so many years - I'm also not sure Disney will do a good job with the Muppets.

Time will tell - but other than Gradians - I see nothing of interest at Disney for me = all the nostalgia is gone - and there is nothing coming that excites me.

I have no plans to go back to Disney any time soon - and Ill be in Orlando.
I have two Universal trips planned for this year and just cam back from one a month ago - very little interest in anything Disney is currently doing.

I never had the chance to ride the Aerosmith rollercoaster. However, I like the Muppets more than Aerosmith, so put me on team Muppets!

I have ridden RnRC many times in the past. Enjoyed it. I no longer ride roller coasters, so I have no opinion on the Muppets being the stars now. I will just miss seeing them in the old attraction.

I stopped riding roller coasters. I am glad that the Muppets will have a presence in HS.

It's one of my family's favorite rides, and I'm so excited for the change. The Aerosmith version is fine, but I agree with previous posters that it's dated. Feels like it's time for something new, and I'm very happy to see the Muppets continue a presence in HS.

I don’t ride many coasters (big coaster chicken here) but at least the RNRC fans aren't losing the ride itself, just the theme. For those of us who are fans of TSI and the RoA, we are losing everything. So I am happy for you that the ride itself is staying, and that the Muppets will still be represented.

Since I am not a big fan of the Monsters, Inc. or Cars IP, a lot of the changes Disney is currently making are a net loss to me and I am sad.

I didn't know they were making changes. But the RNRC was great for my teenager. I think that Aerosmith was a little better draw for that age group, especially for the ones wanting more of a traditional amusement park ride experience.

That said, it does make a better connection to the Disney brand.

ETA: I'm still mourning the original Tiki Room, so I'm probably not the greatest with dealing with change.

I loved Rock N Roller Coaster. I would rather see Max and Goofy trying to get to the Powerline concert. Hubby is disappointed because he can't do roller coasters and loves the Muppets.

Man, Powerline would have been a great theme! I do love The Muppets too of course, but still.

RnR is my favorite non wood coaster (still loving the Cyclone) and gives a nice classic ride; good times no matter what theme from my perspective.
Now if I can just sit in it.

It's one of my favorite rides in the park but I'm not super upset about the theme change. Disney already removed one of my favorite rides and replaced it with mediocrity so this is kind of whatever to me.

I enjoy the ride currently, and am keeping an open mind about the change to muppet theming. I had thought always thought they would just eventually update the preshow to a new rock band. I wonder if they will mainly be using the muppet rock band, Dr teeth and the electric mayhem?

I am a muppet fan, and will definitely miss the Muppetvision 3D attraction.
