Mostly Fresh and Frozen - depends on the item and time of year or of course price.

For crushed tomatoes its canned or cartons - I think I prefer the cartons for the most part.

Canned for something like mini corn cobs, water chestnuts and sauerkraut (or the plastic "fresh" container)

It depends on the food and how much time you have to process fresh vegatables. Some foods like sweet potatoes aren't worth the time to process. Others, like green beans, are significantly better fresh.

I almost exclusively use fresh veggies but will sometimes use frozen, like corn or sometimes broccoli. My kids prefer canned green beans over fresh or frozen though.

I never buy frozen for side dishes. I just don’t care for them in most cases. We always have fresh onions, spinach, lettuce, broccoli, carrots in the house. I’ll also only use fresh Brussels sprouts.
We have cans of corn, peas, tomatoes and green beans in the pantry. Here’s the kicker guys…I PREFER canned green beans! Yes, yes. I know! Not a popular opinion, but it’s all I had as a kid and I really don’t like fresh green beans AT ALL! 🫢
