I’m going to assume we all love/like Mickey Mouse or we wouldn’t be here. I’m not saying Mickey Mouse is all our most favorite cartoon character, but if it wasn’t for him, none of US would be on The DIS, because there would be no DIS. Mickey has a lot of different looks throughout his existence and I’m curious on which Mickey Mouse you like the best. So tell us today……

For Me……..1940 Sorcerer Mickey is my most favorite Mickey Mouse. He always has been and always will be. Seeing him at WDW is a 100% must do every single trip. This year I asked him to sign my ears (I asked Minnie too). These ears are now displayed in my Mickey Mouse bathroom.

The fifties version is the one I'm most familiar, with artwork from Paul Murry and writing by Carl Fallberg. They did a ton of three-part serials for Walt Disney's Comics & Stories.

I went with Sorcerer Mickey (1940) because I've always been a Fantasia fan, but the 1983 one (Mickey's Christmas Carol?) is a close second.

If ever anyone has the chance to go to the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, it's well worth the trip. This is one of the artifacts you will see.

I'll go with 1953 Mickey. He has the look of him in the cartoons I used to watch and comic books I used to read back in the early 50's.

The 2006 is the most Mickey to me.
@wabbott, that museum is terrific. We went there on an ABD while on a DVC MC.

This was a tough one! I love so many of the Mickeys for different reasons. Fantasia Mickey is the Mickey I remember first, but I also love Christmas Carol Mickey and the more modern Mickeys because of memories with my little ones.

I chose 2006 Mickey - because it most resembles the Mickey from "Mickey Mouse clubhouse" - a show that I used to watch with my daughter when she was a toddler!

I picked 1983, but never actually watched Mickey cartoons all that much. The one in my head that I think of as “classic Mickey” is the one on vintage T-shirts and a sweatshirt I had as a kid.

I'm an 80's baby and I definitely identify most with Mickey's A Christmas Carol Mickey 1983.

Interesting. Disney animation's look changed about then, briefly and just looks off to me.
Of course some of the Mickey's at Disneyland when it opened in 1955 are downright frightening!
