I have been wanting to do a poll on this topic for years and I keep forgetting about it. When I was at the grocery store last week, getting everything bought before my surgery, I saw someone loading up on pork rinds. I don’t know if they were all for them or someone else, all I know, is that it was a lot of pork rinds. So I told myself that I have to do a poll on pork rinds. I’ll be honest with you all, I’ve never had them, I know nothing about them, outside of the fact that they seem like something I wouldn’t like. So when I looked up the below information, I learned something. Here’s what I found out…..

Until I read this information, I didn’t know that these have zero carbs and that they aren’t that bad for you. The fatty part doesn’t seem great, but the fact that they have zero carbs is interesting. I learned something today and I think I may buy a bag to try once I return to the grocery store. So let’s find out what you all think of pork rinds. Give us porky good answer today…..

For Me……As I mentioned above, I’ve never tried them and I’m willing to try them very soon. They are fatty, like I assumed, but have zero carbs, which shocks me. We don’t eat a lot of snacky type products, but my curiosity is now peaked, so I’m definitely going to buy a bag.

I remember having them as a kid, but haven't been buying them as an adult. - I should try them again. DH might like them as another low-carb option.
 
Had them as a kid and I will let somebody else enjoy them you can have my share not a fan
 

No, I won't be trying these since I haven't eaten land animals in nearly a decade. I vaguely feel like it's something I may have tried once as a kid at someone else's house, but I honestly don't really remember.
 
They would not be my first snack choice, but I like them okay. The flavor of the rinds themselves is very mild, so you really taste the added flavoring instead. The thing is, they are so full of air that you don’t feel like you have had a snack. They aren’t satisfying to me. I would rather expend the calories on a snack that fills me up a little, like an orange or some crackers and cheese.
 
When I've been in low carb mode I've eaten them. I like them okay. As @fla4fun ssid above, they pretty much take on the flavor of whatever flavor is on them. Not currently in low carb mode.
 
I'm southern and old so they pretty much were a requirement to live here when I was growing up. I love them. To be honest, until I was in my 50s I never actually read the label to even see the stats. I don't like fresh home made ones, my in laws used to raise hogs and would make them when they slaughtered one. Nope. But store bought ones, I'll eat an entire bag in one sitting. Think I'll grab a couple bags next time I'm in the store.
 
I tried pork rinds when I was in college. They were good but I won't eat them again. They aren't exactly a healthy snack. ;)
 
I have tried them a few times and thought they were ok at best. But it’s been a long time so I would try them again or another brand/type if they were around somewhere.
 
I like them, but I almost never get them because, well, they ae not good for you. I don't care for bagged, but a lot of barbecue restaurants around here make them fresh. Man, those are good. One place used to have a side of pork cracklin's with cheese sauce for dipping! Oh yeah - but it's a heart attack on a plate!
 
I’ve tried them, many years ago. They were okay but I just never think to buy them. That may change, since learning they have no carbs. As a diabetic I’m always looking for new snacks. I think I will buy some next shopping trip🙂
 
Now I have to go out and buy some. Love them but haven't had them in years. Too much sodium and cholesterol. They are one of the things my now vegetarian daughter misses.
