We have stayed deluxe, moderate & value. Back when we used to go at least 4 times a year, we said we were going to try a different resort each trip. So a few years ago we were trying to decide which one to book, my grandson walked thru the room and said "can't we just stay at POP"? I think that is when we all realized POP is our favorite so that is where we stay now.

We are here now on a triple split - BR, RIV, and VGF. Up until a couple of years ago, we always did deluxe CL. Now we rent points so I can have my washer and dryer!!!
It makes a big difference! I see comments from people who "Don't want to do laundry on vacation" and I get that, but the trade-off is you don't pack and schlep so much stuff. It's not like you're ironing and putting everything away. Come back from parks, throw stuff in the washer and if you're still awake when it's finished, throw it in the dryer. You'll have clean clothes in the morning!

We stay wherever fits our budget. We've stayed value (POP, ASMu, ASMo), moderate (POFQ, CSR) and deluxe but only via DVC (AKL, SSR, OKW, BWV). We've also stayed offsite in hotels, condos/houses, and at DisneySprings. My very favorite place to stay is at AKL/Jambo, but also really liked BWV (we had many lovely evenings sitting on the Boardwalk, margarita in hand, watching the boats cruise by and looking at the lights at tye YC/BC). However, values work for me, too. DD and I just returned from a lovely stay at ASMu. I love how small and convenient everything is at the AllStars, no huge long hike to get anywhere. Current planned trip is Jan 2024, where we'll stay 4 nights with my sister/BIL in NOLA and then hop over to Orlando and stay 4 nights at CSR. Currently we have no plans to go to the parks, just relax, explore the area, and eat good food.
