Rides are so much fun and something many of us really enjoy. Sadly, as we all age, some rides get more difficult for us to ride. I love Space Mountain, but that is one ride that I struggle with. It’s so jerky that my neck (which I’ve been seeing a chiropractor for since I was 16) feels like I was in a car accident, and getting in and out of the ride car isn’t easy with bad knees, so this ride may no longer be on my to do list for much longer.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say we all have our favorite fast ride, even if we can’t ride it anymore. I do realize that some of us haven’t been on all the rides in this poll, so just answer with the ones you have experienced. For those that have only been to Disneyland, some of the rides on this list are there, so answer your favorite DL ride from the list.

Let’s have a little fun this morning and discuss our favorite fast WDW ride and why you enjoy it so much. So tell us today…..


What is your favorite fastest ride in WDW (or DL since some rides are there)?



For Me……Here’s my answer…….


I love Tron….absolutely love it. Just looking at The Grid from a distance make me so excited. I’m like a little kid as we walk towards The Grid and the second we enter it, I’m on the edge of my seat and can hardly wait to get on the ride. The front set of bikes is the only way for us to ride this ride and we always request it (it’s the best!). My only wish is that it was longer.

I’m not a thrill ride fan. The only rides on the list I have been on is BTMRR, Slinky Dog, and Test Track. I did not like Slinky Dog, so it was a one and done. Test Track is okay, but I don’t ride it often. BTMRR is the only one on the list I can say I like.

#1 for me is ToT, it's my second favorite ride in all of WDW

My favorite is Expedition Everest, also like Big Thunder Mountain and Test Track too.

Tot might not be my fastest ride but it's my favorite. TT is 2nd.

Expedition Everest.

I got to ride from it's first opening and have rode many times. BUT, it's a great memory now because my last ride was in Dec 2020. I got off the ride and I could just tell my heart was in a weird kind of flutter sensation that took too long to recover ( since seen a cardiologist and have a dx). It's a bummer to scratch off rides, my list has quite a few now and I'll never experience the newer rides. I can live with that since I can't miss what I don't know right?

There is also a funny story of me making my son ( who had to be a young teenager then) go on the ride. Yes, I was "that mom". I knew he'd survive and he did!

Big Thunder probably. I probably like Splash the best of any ride. It's a long ride, sedate, a nice story. But certainly not fast. A few of those I've never been on, a few of them I've 'aged out of' after riding them many times over many trips, using good sense to not push my medical to, ha.

BTMRR is a fun ride you can scream on. Many good memories of rides with some of my family and many rides with folks from the DIS, laughing all through the ride.

I have been on test track can’t say I enjoyed it and that is the extent of my fast rides on your list because of my one desire to always get sick on those kind of rides and to the fact that I have a spinal cord injury I do not ride those rides so my answer would be the people mover that’s my favorite fast ride !!! so while my family members are riding all the fast rides I’m usually on the people mover!! And then I’ll hop on over to Buzz Lightyear!!!

Guardians Cosmic Rewind is my new favorite, even tho it makes me queasy sometimes. Everest is close behind and Tiana.

I always liked space mountain, maybe since long ago it was probably among my first faster rides.

As the years pile up, more and more of them can leave me a bit queasy at times. So I might have to go with test track, as that is the fastest one shown that doesn’t affect me, at least as of now!
