I have to take the day off tomorrow - I’m going to be out of town. My DD21 is having shoulder surgery, so if you all could send her a little pixie dust her way for a successful surgery and quick recovery i’d really appreciate it. I’ll still be around, I just may not have time to do a poll. Now, onto the poll…..

This time of year is caramel apple season, especially if you have an apple orchard close to you. Caramel Apples can have many different add ons on it - nuts, candy, crushed cookie and more. Give us your carmely good answer today……

For Me……I really like caramel apples, but I have to eat them in moderation due to my UC. At one time I liked peanuts, but my UC doesn’t allow that anymore. So I enjoy them plain, with certain candies and crushed Oreos. Now I want a caramel apple - LOL!

Oreo cookie ones - same drizzles

I used to always get one at downtown Disney at Pluto’s Candy cauldron !! They used to have it where you picked what you wanted and they made your apple

Haven’t done any in couple years as my diet overrode my love of eating them - it takes a while pkg of Reese’s to go one apple so there are very candy heavy but so delicious

I love apples + caramel, but it's too hard to eat them as pictured. I prefer to just slice my apple up and have caramel to dip the slices in one at a time.

I love caramel apples....used to buy them at Costco....so many good toppings.
But my teeth do not like them. Last time I ate one the caramel pulled a crown out....so dentist said no more

They are not bad, I can't remember the last time I had one. I seem to avoid them because of perceived messiness, and worry about teeth damage.

I like the red candy (sweet, not cinnamon) ones better, but caramel ones are OK with me if that's what's available. This year so far though, I've actually had a chocolate one (with nuts) and it was pretty good!

We both really like caramel apples, with the peanuts, Affy Tappples around here. At this time of the year, Marie will usually wind up buying 3 packs maybe 4 or 5 times. Over two days, we each have one and split the third one. We always slice the apples off the stick.

I now have veneers and would worry they would get challenged with the caramel. But when I was younger, we used to buy these thin caramel sheets (just big enough for one apple). The idea was to lay the sheet of caramel over the apple and bake in the oven.

There was one problem. I ate the sheets of caramel before putting them on the apples!
