Do you buy slushies at a gas station or 7-Eleven?
If yes…..Do you mix the flavors or do one flavor?

(This applies to any self-serve slushie machines anywhere)


For Me…..I love going to the gas station and buying a slushie on a hot day. This time of year my DD17 (and sometimes multiple teammates that I love like nieces) and I go frequently, especially between or after her softball games.
I always mix my flavors - I layer cherry w/ coke or cherry w/ Mountain Dew. Some gas stations have multiple flavors of which I’ll try. We have great memories going out for slushies - may not seem like a big deal, but sometimes it’s the little things that make some of the best memories.❤

I think I can count on one hand how many times I've ever bought a slushie -- and it's been YEARS since I did. I've never bought one at a gas station or 7-11. Our Target used to have slushie machines in their snack bar area (I don't think they do anymore. Now they have a Starbucks.) I think it had two flavors. I would pick one or the other. It never occurred to me to mix them.

I try not to drink sugary things much now, but we used to walk to a local convenience store to get slushees when DS was little, and I was definitely a flavor-mixer as well.

I never mix. And I always get cherry. If there's no cherry, I'll do a cola. But absolutely no other flavors interest me. Blue raspberry.

I don't buy Slurpees
quite coincidently, I've recently gotten a frozen coke and a frozen flavored drink at Mc'Ds because it's b1g1 free on their mobile app. I was highly disappointed that Diet Coke wasn't an option. I couldn't finish mine and I had a taste of my grandsons's (cherry) and knew that was never going into my mouth again!

I very rarely have one.....if I do it would only be a sugar free one if they have it and even that would depend on the flavor available.
Haven't had one out in years.

One flavour only. Coke. Heck when I met him he had that huge bucket cup as well was a lot of smaller cups. Had to learn how to unblocked the ice in the straw if it blocked while driving...lol

I myself do not drink them at all. My kids like to mix flavours.

I’ve likely mixed flavors in the past, but now on the once or twice per summer I get such a drink, it’s one flavor.

I put other. I think I've done it twice. Usually I'm going to the gas station to buy gas and don't leave the pumps. Both times I've done it was on a long trip so I had to go in to go to the bathroom and thought why not.

Always pay for my gas with a credit card so never have a reason to go into those gas station convenience stores. Whatever they sell always seems overpriced. Even before covid, I always wondered if they ever clean those machines that dispense pop/slushies/etc.? Might occasionally buy a slushie at someplace like Dairy Queen and I see McDonald's now sells them too.

Yes I mix... with vodka. I have a friend and one Saturday a year we go to 7-11 get a slushie go float in the pool and mix a shot of vodka in it.

I’ve had more slushies in the past week during the heatwave than I have in the last 5 years cumulatively, I’m sure. I’ll drink them from anywhere, not just the Sev. I like the fruity ones McDonald’s have, Ice Cap from Tim’s or if I’m at a regular store I take cream soda, root beer or blue raspberry. Since Covid all the stores here have stopped letting you pull your own from the tap; they pull them for you. It makes mixing a hassle so I don’t even think about it.

I never buy Slushies. They give me horrible repeated brain freeze. I wouldn't go to 7-11 anyway. I'm a WaWa girl.
