For Me…..I love ice cream cones - absolutely love them!
I don’t eat them very often, which is difficult since I live walking distance from a Dairy Queen - LOL!
The cones I enjoy are waffle cones and cake cones. I like the taste of sugar cones, but I would never choose it - they don’t hold the ice cream as securely (it’s an ice cream tragedy when your ice cream falls off the cone), and they leak out the bottom easily.

My cone from Labor Day - this is one of my favorite summer treats. I finally got it before the place closes for the winter. This was the inspiration for this poll.

Love them. Back in my more unhealthy days I used to buy a box of waffle cones, break them up, and eat them without any ice cream whatsoever. Thank God I don't do that anymore, but I still enjoy the very occasional scoop of chocolate in a cone.

I like all the cones, but when I get one it's almost always a sugar cone. I would go for waffle, except they are larger and the place I usually go will only sell them as 2-scoop, and I only ever want 1 scoop.

I ditched the cone a while back. The generic ones never held up and tasted like paper and the fancy ones just added too many additional calories In general though, cones are too messy - I am happy with a plain old cup and take the calories with toppings

I sometimes have cake cups at home. I prefer their taste (not too sweet) and softness, and the flat bottom makes it easy to scoop. Rarely get ice cream out, but if I do, I get a dish/cup. Haven’t had a sugar cone in many years and don’t think I’ve ever had a waffle, but as a kid, what we called waffle was the cake type.

As for the cones themselves, probably waffle number 1,though fewer places would have them, then sugar and last, cake. As a kid, bite the point off the bottom of the sugar cone and drink the melting ice cream out of the hole.

I love ice cream cones and usually get a cake cone. The sugar cones affect the flavor too much. And the waffle cones are just too much food. A cake cone maximizes the amount of ice cream per cone.

I'm the same. I'd ratehr eat it with a spoon just because it's easier and less messy. it's not that I dislike the cones though!
