For Me……I sorta like going to a Casino - the sounds and lights are always fun. Seeing people winning is exciting, but then quickly diminished when you see people that are sad because they aren’t winning and probably can’t afford to be there to begin with. The casinos by me have signs with phone numbers for gambling addicts to call, and also signs telling people to not leave small children home alone in order for them to be there - always sad to see. DH and I used to go to a local NW Indiana casino before COVID for the buffet, which was always a fun night. I would take $20 to play penny slots and I only won once ($150.00) when I decided to play a $5.00 slot. Outside of that, I never come home with more than what I left with. DH is always a winner - he‘s lucky with The Wheel of Fortune slots. When we went to Vegas he came home with approx $1000.00 more than what he left with - the more I lost is the more he won - it was very annoying - LOL! The local casino has not brought back their buffet, so we have not been to a casino since January 2020.

Yes, I like going to the casino. I go twice a week for an hour or two. I used to play Blackjack, now I like Mississippi Stud. Don't play slots much except for Video Poker.

I had to go to a casino once because it was after hour activities on a work trip that I was at the mercy of the one driving. It was the fastest $20 I had ever spent. Gone in seconds. I can't believe people do this. I was stuck because the driver is a gambler and casino fan. So I just hung out and people watched.

Coworker walked out about $1500 lighter. Other coworker had never been to a casino and he played the whole time because he kept hitting little stuff and getting a couple $$. I think he went in with $100 and walked out with $105 or so. I got to play for just about 1.5 seconds with my $20, LOL.

I don't like casinos and the last time I ever went to one was when I walked through one on a cruise ship. Not only do I hate the cigarette smoke in the actual casino, I don't think gambling is fun at all. Probably why I will never go to Las Vegas.

I love casinos. Typically go once or twice a week unless I’m taking time off for a losing streak. For me it’s entertainment. I’m ecstatic when I come out ahead but as long as I got the play time I would expect for the money I watered then it’s all good.

I play blackjack and slots.

I go to a casino maybe once a year. Last time I was at one was my birthday. There was a casino where we went for the day and we went in for about an hour. I only like playing roulette but I like the individual machine game as opposed to playing with a crowd at the table.

My dh goes to a casino maybe 4 times a year. He likes blackjack. We have a local casino but they don’t have that roulette game that I like so I don’t go with him.

We like Vegas, but do not care for other places with casinos. As far as the money spent, we consider it entertainment like what we would spend on other fun things - even when we know we will likely lose it.

I miss the old days where you had buckets of change and your fingers would turn black.

I would go ocassionally and it can be fun. It's not my favorite thing in the world, but I can waste a little money at a craps table, at least enough to get a buffet comp. If I lose about 50 bucks, I am DONE.

I haven’t been in years but I have a $20 budget. No matter how much I’ve won, I’ve not really won until I’ve lost that $20.

I’ve been a few times - take $20 and when it’s gone I’m done - sometimes it’s gone very fast / once it lasted almost two hours I think I may have won $5 I take DD as she loves going - I’m only in it for the buffet - yummy - their Sunday brunch is worth it !!
Gambling is not for me - I just never understood how people can sit and do that for hours - let alone the fact about - but same can be said about shopping / buying DVC / going to Disney / taking a cruise - so to each his own - I’m sure a lot of us have played Bingo on the ships - it’s still gambling - just not in a casino ! So I’m guilty of several I’m not judging / as DD said it’s like video games where you win money - well someone wins - not me I donate

I’ve only been to a casino once and that was on a cruise ship back in 2003. They look like fun but I’m not interested in throwing away money.

I go about twice a year and I’ve met my quota for 2022 already.

In March we went to the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL, where one hotel tower is shaped like a guitar. They had an evening light and laser show on it.

Then in June to a local casino.

Lost about $100 both times.

We go all the time. It used to be about 1x a year, then Covid hit and we got bored of just sitting around. Found the casinos to be safe places - everyone spaced out, behind partitions, fully masked, etc. Jan 2021, we started going frequently, and it is every 2 or so weeks now. Going Saturday after we drop our kid off at college, and then will take a break for a bit since DH is starting a new job...lower pay, better mental health, however Once we see how those first few checks come in, we will probably start going again.

I love the vibe of casinos....I LOOOOOVE the overnight sounds at one - we stayed at a casino/hotel for 2 nights last month and the later the night, the more I enjoyed myself!

We never take more than we can afford to lose, and most winnings go back into a central pot to use the next time we go. Although, DH bought tires with his last casino winnings That was helpful!

I've been to a few. I don't like them (usually it is too much smoke). I don't like to gamble.
I have walked through them on cruise ships.
I have only played slots in Las Vegas.
We used to eat at one by where we lived but didn't gamble.
I haven't to one in years. I have not been in any by where we live now.

I've only been to casinos in Las Vegas. I usually only go to fancy restaurants, binge drink and go to the clubs while I'm in Vegas. Maybe a bit of sunbathing and shopping too. I'll all about the sure thing, gambling isn't a sure thing for me.

It's probably been more than 3 years since I was last in a casino - of course a conference for work - MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Definitely did a lot of problem drinking, clubbing and fine dining during that trip. Did that conference with the fun boys from work. It was a blast.

But seriously, I've only ever "gambled" once. A slot machine on one of the sad Fremont Street casinos with a different set of colleagues. I lost $20, that's enough for me.

Technically I went to one last month, because the movie theater I saw the last Thor movie at is in a casino.
I went to Las Vegas for work about 5 or 6 years ago and we went to the strip one night. I mostly played Pokemon Go and had a couple drinks while the people I was with played some poker games.
