Had a ceramic paring knife, it broke.

The knives I have used for eons are Henckels.

We have four.. Made by Cuisinart. They replaced our metal kitchen prep knives for chopping, so when ever we need to cut up veggies, or cheese, etc we use them.

I have a couple. I like that they come with a plastic case, I often use them when I go somewhere picnic, lunch bag, beach, etc. for my regular daily meal prep I use my steel knives.
