I saw the first one and liked it, but even on two DCL cruises, I just couldn’t see me sitting though a 3+ hour movie. Maybe I will watch it at home, I am not sure.

I saw the first one on tv, and I was bored. I just couldn’t get into it. So I haven’t bothered to see the second one.

The visual effects especially watching it in 3D at the imax theater were impressive. The plot was okay. both movies plots were very similar.

I kind of saw the first one many years ago. They had us show it at work as a reward for the kids. I don't really remember too much about it. I was kind of multitasking while it was on.

I've always thought that they would have been better if they had been animations.

Saw the first one at the movies, and watched some of it again when the kids watched. Don't really care for it much, or feel the need to rewatch. haven't watched the second one, but DD really enjoyed it (and the first one.) Maybe one day. Love the FoP ride though in Pandora.

I've seen the first in theaters. I haven't seen the second one. I've never watched grass grow for three hours, but I'm sure the second one has captured that experience- in IMAX!

The Avatar movies are one of those things where I'm definitely out of step culturally. I've only seen the first one, and only seen it once. It was fine, but to me it felt like Dances With Wolves with a CGI overlay.

Ok, so last night I started Avatar. I am halfway through - hoping to finish tonight. I actually love it. I was shocked. I am not a sci-fi or fantasy genre person so I wasn't sure how I would feel about the whole "colonizing a new world" vibe. So far I love it and the character interactions. Will see how it ends up.

I saw the first one and thought it was long and boring. I really have no desire to see the other ones. I did enjoy Flight of Passage though.
