I usually just buy for my grown kids, their signaficant other and my granddaughter. However, this year I had to buy something for a co-worker b/c she bought me something really nice.

I always question if I should buy my boss something. He always gets me something nice but I've never gotten him anything. I'm just not good at coming up with gifts without their suggestions.

16+ - my wife has a staff of like 12 or 13 by herself. She sent Harry & David gift boxes to each of them.

I bought 5 presents for work mates (my 2 staff, plus something for my boss and two admins that I work with).

As far as family, we do a gift exchange now with my side of the family, so we had four gifts there (from me, my wife and our two boys). Plus, we usually get a little something for my aunt (also my godmother).

On my wife's side, it's just her mom and her brother.

Then there's a few other miscellaneous gifts for other friends and people in our life.

I buy for Marie. Also for 3 service people. Marie, on the other hand, buys for everybody else. Between family, friends and some other service people, seems like 100,haha.

I voted 4 people.

I voted 16+ between family, friends, our staff, all the kids teachers (13 of them) it’s a lot. I also made 45 gift baskets for business associates.

I guess I have to say 16+, mainly due to small gifts for 60-80 children. I am geared up for 84, but the number I’ll actually see tomorrow afternoon could be less. Not including them would bring me way back down to around 10 or so.

I don’t feel obligated to buy gifts for family members once they reach a certain age. So this year I bought tickets to a family event for all “present in the city“ relatives under the age of 16. My present to their parents ( except the two acting as chaperones) is a few hours of peace and quiet. Probably won’t happen next year so get it while you can.

DM, DMIL, DSIL, other DSIL, DB/DSIL, DH, DD, DS, DDIL, DGD, DSGS, 5 nieces/nephews, 2 employees.

So 18. We're not particularly close with the nieces and nephews, though, just their parents. I'm actually thinking of stopping the practice next year. We've already stopped with DH's brother and sister-in-law -- we were just trading gift baskets.

Only my sister and BIL. My shopping has been done for about a week, but I have been procrastinating when it comes to wrapping.

I buy for both my kids(2), my nieces and nephews(4), and one adult(my husband's family does a secret Santa amongst the adults in his immediate family. My husband and I only buy each other something small if anything.

A bunch of people, I think I've lost count. Wife, kid, housemates, mom, sister/BIL/Nephew, my secretary, my business partner/employees. Probably 15+. Got to get a few more things for the wife today.

3 people. Son, his SO and their daughter. Hubby and I stopped exchanging gifts years ago. He used to give his parents case but they did the same thing for him and it was just silly them exchanging money so he told them to stop. If we go down to visit his family and any of his nieces or nephew are there, he gives them cash.

My husband
Our 3 kids
My parents
My mother-in-law
Our 4 siblings & their spouses - we put together some kind of couple’s gift each year for our siblings & their spouses, so 4 gifts total
6 nieces & nephews
4 grandnieces & nephews
Youngest son’s teachers, co-administrator, & secretary at our co-op - 4 gifts total
My students - 20 gifts total
One set of neighbors
My hairdresser & nail technician

So, in total, I’m buying for 48 different people, but the gifts vary from the types of gifts you buy for your kids to a tin of homemade cookies & an ornament for our neighbors.

I just buy for my wife. And a light Christmas this year, just not anything we want, and most gifts are things we need. Socks, sheets, etc.
We normally don't put up our Christmas decorations until about the 10th of December. Due to being out of town we put up our decorations on December 3rd and that is way way way too early. Seems like Christmas season is dragging. My shopping is done, wrapped and under the tree. My wife, who usually is done early STARTED her shopping today.

It's complicated. We have a lot of family where we've just decided to stop exchanging gifts. So, I budget for my husband and kids, but every year it ends up being more. This year, I had adopt an angel gifts at work, four secret Santa gifts for the kids, and I helped one kid out a little with one of her friend gifts.

We just buy for both sets of parents on each side and our niece and nephew (one on each side). We stopped exchanging with our siblings when they had kids and just buy for the kids. So total of 6 people.

We buy for lots:

DD, DD, DS and DD's significant other
My mom
My sister, BIL, 2 nieces
My MIL
We draw names for adults on DHs side, so 2 gifts (one from DH, one from me)
1 goddaughter
11 great nieces and nephews
15 of my ladies at work (I sent live wreaths this year)

Dh
5 grown kids including dil
3 parents
3 niece and nephew
3 dirty Santa
2 drawn names
4 coworkers
Daughter in laws parents

22 total, I think

Our 3 kids, my husband, myself, and the four cats.

The kids are the only ones I do real shopping for. My husband and I don’t officially exchange gifts and haven’t for most of the years we’ve been together, but now that the kids have come along the lines of who’s getting what for whom sometimes get a little blurred. This year, I’ve picked up a couple novelty items for him, bought a step ladder that he wanted and already knows about and has used, and have wrapped up a few things he bought for himself. Conversely, I’ve bought some things for myself and he and/or the kids will likely add some things too, then we’ll both have a little stack of gifts to open on Christmas morning alongside the kids gift extravaganza. And, the cats are included, too. This year they’re getting a replacement scratcher that they desperately need and some treats and toys.

Thirteen. DH, kids, grandkids, my MIL, DD's MIL (because she's a widow and alone,) a couple of nephews who I'm kinda "mom" to.
I'll call it 14, just to be lucky, since I always end up buying something for myself.
