Sometimes i use a wipe and sometimes i dont... but then i always feel bad for not doing it or doing it after i take it from someone... lol

Remember at the start of COVID when people were wiping down all of their groceries before they even put them in the car? That is a level of crazy I hope we never see again.

Nope - I don't wipe down the shopping cart and I have not been sick - at all - since before COVID.

Nah, never. Not even during the early months of covid.

Based on the title, I thought this thread would be about returning carts to the corral or front of store.
I thought the same. If I'm not close to the front (I rarely am) I take it to the corral and not only spend the extra massive amount of energy is seems to walk the whole way to the corral rather than throwing from 8 feet away, I straighten them all up, or many of them. I pushed carts for years as a kid in high school and through college (and if you remember, I'm the reigning cart pushing champion at pushing 110 carts up and 90° onto the sidewalk :D)

Funny thing about this topic is, my observation is every person I've seen use wipes to wipe down the cart first grabs the cart to pull it from the other ones, then grabs the handle to come into the store pausing in everyone's way in the doorway to get a wipe and wipe down the cart handle. Then they grab the handle again and go on their way.

What good is grabbing the handle, then wiping it down, then grabbing the handle again with the same hands you grabbed it with before wiping it down?

I use the wipe on my hands before throwing it in the trash. You're right, that makes no sense.

I grab the wipe first, wipe down the handle and then pull it from the coral.

I chose other:

We still wear gloves.
I would wipe and not use them,
but since "everyone" thinks Covid is "over"
they are usually not available.

The thought of MonkeyPox doesn't thrill me, either.

I always wipe the handles and the basket area where I put my purse. I don't need my purse sitting in the germs from the dirty diapers of the kids who've been sitting in that basket.

I did when the kids were little and came along with me to the store and we were riding in one of those racecar carts that all the little kids want to ride in. Other than that, no.

Great idea. I'm going to start doing that, wiping the child seat area. I don't need my eggs sitting in the germs from the dirty purses sitting in that area before me :rotfl2:

Please note the funny laughing emoji before attacking...
