So what is your Plymouth Rock? I assume northeast somewhere as well?

We don’t have a definitive place, but it’s thought to be in Newfoundland and Labrador, and there is a plaque in a place called Cape Bonavista where John Cabot landed.

Not American so no thanksgiving taken into consideration here. For me it is November 1 each year - if I’m going to a heck of lot of trouble then I want to enjoy it.

Decorated new tree yesterday. Kids helped, and was a very nice time. Hope to get the rest of the more knick knack, shelf/floor decorations up this week. I hope to try to weed through the ornaments boxes, and maybe get rid of a few things we haven't used in a while.

For a couple reasons, we decided to put our trees up early this year. I already have four up. They range in size from 4' to 6'. Two are regular width. Two are pencil trees. I still have two more to put up, but I don't think I'm putting up our biggest tree this year. I don't want it to be showing in the window, when we're away. Normally, I start decorating on or the day after Thanksgiving.
