I have seen some really fun Halloween displays done with skeletons. Some people are incredibly creative with what their skeletons are doing. I saw one house that put down a tan mat, sprinkle sand on it and set up their skeletons like they’re chilling out on the beach. They had all the beach accessories with it - so fun! I’m just not that creative, so I’m always super impressed with people that are. Other houses by us have very very very tall skeletons - they’re higher than their house. One day I started thinking to myself….I don’t have a single skeleton here. There’s no reason why - I just don’t. So now I’m wondering about you. So give us your bony good answer today…..

Do you have any skeleton decorations out for Halloween?
If yes…..Are they scary skeletons, plain skeletons or fun skeletons?
(multiple choice)

*Scary = gory and/or in a threatening manner
*Plain = literally as it says. Just a plain naked skeleton just sitting or standing
*Fun = dressed up, cute or in a fun type scene (the below picture has fun skeletons)

For Me……As I mentioned above, I have zero skeletons at home. I have nothing against them, I just don’t have any. I haven’t bought anything new for Halloween in a very very long time. I have 3 totes allocated for Halloween, so if something can’t fit in there, then I’m not buying it, and those totes are pretty much full. Since I’m not willing to get rid of anything, I can’t buy anything new.

I think the outdoor displays are very creative, but I just don't have the storage space for big decorations like that. I have a Halloween wreath on my door, and some light-up pumpkins on the porch.

The closest thing I have to a skeleton inside is a display of children's books in a Halloween bucket. One of them has a skeleton on the front.

We weren't much of a Halloween family as I grew up and that hasn't changed much in my adult life. I really don't do anything for Halloween, skeletons or otherwise. Living out in the middle of nowhere, it would only be for me and I'm not ready to spend the time, money and energy on all that when I doubt I'd like it quite that much. :)

I have several Halloween skeletons outside they’re enjoying my porch furniture at the moment I need to get them some cute outfits I currently don’t have any I also do big scarecrow people that will sit with the Halloween skeletons on my porch furniture

No skeletons here that I'm aware of.

Funny how the big ones have gotten so popular over past few years. Some years back, there were a handful of plastic pumpkins glowing on driveway post lights. Then a few more and more and then seemed like every other house had a glowing plastic driveway post pumpkin. Similar with the big skeletons. One or two a few years back, then a few more, now a half dozen or more every block. Some very creative. What will be the next Halloween bandwagon?

I have nothing displayed this year. We leave for a trip tomorrow.....so sad not to see them.
We have a lot of skeletons. Our front yard is decorated as a pet cemetery, so a lot of animal skeletons.
Have a happy trip!

I really like them and they work with so many people's themes but it's just never been my decorating aesthetic for the holiday. What I really love are the people who add them to their vehicles...especially the huge ones.

I voted other. We have a skeleton in the front yard that is meant to be "scary" but he's only like a foot tall and has a pirate hat on, leaning on a tree in the front yard. Looks more pitiful than scary.

There are some of those ginormous skeletons just one street over. They're fun to see, I have respect/admiration for people to do some over-the-top decorating (even if it's really not my thing.)

No actual skeletons but I have a "welcome" sign on the door to my office that is a skull that says "enter if you dare."
