I don’t know about you….but when I think of WDW, one of the first things I think of is Cinderella Castle (does anyone know why it’s not Cinderella’s Castle? I accidentally posted that once and was very quickly corrected :rolleyes2 . To me, it doesn’t matter how you say it and to me, it will always be Cinderella’s Castle (personal preference even though it’s wrong). If you know the reason, please post why. Now back to the main topic….) Disney has 6 parks around the world and each of them have a beautiful castle. Some of us have seen only 1 and some of us have seen all 6. Below is some information on the topic…

Now that you read that, let’s talk about these beautiful castles today. Give us your royally good answer today….

Have you seen any of the Disney Parks castles?
If yes….which ones?
(multiple choice)

✨ No “other” today - you either have or have not seen one or more castles ✨

For Me……Yes, I’ve only seen Cinderella’s Castle at WDW. We keep saying we want to go to Disneyland to see Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, but the years fly by and we don’t get there. We decided that we will do our best to get there for the 75th celebration, so that gives us 5 years to plan. I would also love to see the other ones, but I don’t know if that will ever happen, only time will tell.

I have seen three, Florida, California and Japan. The hub area in front of the castle at Tokyo Disneyland is so much larger than the size of the hub at WDW, it was very surprising.

I really like the newly expanded Hong Kong castle. It used to just be a clone fo the Disneyland one, but they recently transformed it and it looks great. I wish Tokyo would change theirs so it isn't exaclty like WDW's version.

I've only seen the two US castles in person -don't really have the desire to see the others but might some day. If I'm in Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai ...there's many more things to do than going to a Disney Park for my time(although I love them).

I believe it's Cinderella Castle because they didn't want the castles to be possessive -so it's more of a title. As in, the Washington Memorial -not Washington's Memorial.

I've only seen two but had the opportunity to see a third back when I visited France. We ended up choosing a day at the Louvre over a trip to Disney, so only two castles for us. I prefer Cinderella over Sleeping Beauty, but I do love the walk through in Sleeping Beauty and it's always special to be around the castle that was touched by Walt.

While that's an understandable sentiment, if you ever find yourself in Tokyo, DisneySea is well worth spending a little extra time at. It's incredible! Yes, there are a lot of great things to do and see in Tokyo - and Tokyo DisneySea is one of them!

Interesting question. Apparently when WDW opened, it was branded as Cinderella Castle to "evoke the storybook style of naming" like Sleeping Beauty Castle was named at DL. It's a tone of fairy tales, provides brand consistency, and (probably most important to Walt...) for trademarking -- Cinderella Castle is a unique product and Cinderella's Castle would be a grammatical phrase.

I've seen them in Florida and California -- nothing outside the US.

Been going to MK regularly since it opened so I've seen every version of it. Whole family has.

Finally got to DL last year and well, even knowing castle was smaller I was not prepared for the extreme smallness. DS#1 wants to go to DL but honestly don't know that it is worth the cost.

Was to go to Paris in '21 but the world situation interrupted that plan. Tried again for '26 but couldn't coordinate the details for entire family. DS#2 has been and says the castle is AWESOME! One day I'll get there. 🐲

DH and DD have been to Tokyo and they were mostly impressed with TokyoSea and made zero mention of their castle. I'd love to go but that plane ride is a no go for me. (DD also been to DL)

The rest are not on my bucket list, I'll never go to those.

So hope to add DLP to my castle list but for now I'll just love on Cinderella's.

I've only ever seen Cinderella Castle in person. I would love to visit Shanghai. Ever since the park opening was announced and then I saw the model for the park at WDW it's been my bucket wish trip.

As of today I've seen Florida, California and Paris. Florida is the best so far, and to say I was disappointed and underwhelmed about California's is an understatement. I know it's the original, but having visited Florida numerous times before doing California, I've been a bit spoilt.

In less than 4 weeks time, I'll have added Hong Kong and Shanghai to the castles seen. Excited to see what they're like! 😊
