I know, I know….I normally don’t do weekend polls, but I couldn’t pass up doing a poll on National Ice Cream Day. If you’re like me, ice cream is a part of summer. I know some can’t have ice cream (my DH being one of them), but luckily there’s some non-dairy alternatives that people can enjoy. So, on this National Ice Cream Day tell us…..

Will you be having ice cream today?

*Ice Cream Treats can be - cones, milkshakes, sundaes, from the grocery store, floats and it goes on and on. Lots of ice cream type treats out there.


For Me……I love Dairy Queen Dilly Bars, and I always keep a box in the freezer, so I’m going to enjoy one of those today. The only way I won’t have one, is if I decide to drive to DQ today to get something else. Either way….I’m definitely having ice cream today

I love ice cream. I made a no churn blueberry cheesecake ice cream yesterday so we will be trying that later.

Probably won't have any ice cream today, there's none in the house and I don't plan to go out today. We do have a Dairy Queen nearby, and a Blizzard does sound pretty good!

Yep, the grocery store had half gallons of ice cream on sale today, so I bought peach, strawberry, and chocolate. I don’t know for sure which flavor I will have, but probably the strawberry.

Shop Rite had Haagen Dazs “pints” for $2.49 on Thurs/Fri/Sat and I bought 4.

I couldn’t pass up doing a poll

No ice cream today, but Marie and I each had complimentary old fashion ice cream sundaes yesterday for our birthdays at one of our favorite restaurants where Natalie treated us. Old fashion, 3 scoops, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla, chopped nuts, whipped cream. A lot, but somehow we both finished them.

We do like a Culver's frozen custard now and then. Some really good 'flavors of the day'.

We were at the zoo today. I skipped ice cream because I'd eaten junk food for lunch (including a soda) but the kids in our group did enjoy some Dippin' Dots.

Keep a nice stock of Blue Bell at home all the time. My favorite is still the homemade vanilla, but so many are yummy. I think we have Bride’s Cake now.
But…..I’ve gotten addicted to Haagen Dazs Rum Raisin, and just enjoyed some.
I didn’t even realize it was Ice Cream Day!

I can take or leave regular ice cream, but won’t pass up a bowl of Dippin’ Dots! Love them!

It didn't take much convincing for my husband and daughter to join me at a local ice cream place. I gave their strawberry rhubarb pie ice cream a try and it was so gross I wanted to wash my mouth out with soap to get rid of the taste.

We had no idea, but DH made me a banana split and he had Amish made raspberry pie topped with ice cream.

So glad we did, didn’t want to get in trouble for not celebrating ice cream day.
