I have no idea. I pretty much always buy what's out in the case at the grocery store.

Most of the ham you can buy is already cooked.

Well well, you are missing something special. In Wales we make the hock into a thick and delicious split pea and ham soup which we serve with doughboys. It’s a heavy winter meal.

I always make split pea soup with the leftover ham hock, it’s the main reason I’ll give in yo Dd19 and make ham at holidays, I love the soup.

Lucky Charms are not Irish, they are not sold in Ireland.

I never considered them authentic, just fun.

But it's a shame you can't get them...they're magically delicious!!

Thank you so much. We weren't sure if it would be as celebrated in Belfast as Dublin or other places in Ireland. Her and her friend has quite the outfits planned so it is awesome that they will be able to partake in a cool celebration. My city had the parade this past Saturday and it was 12 degrees, snowing and windy I did not attend. They are currently in Barcelona and will be flying in on Wednesday.
