We went out to look at Christmas lights with Christmas music playing. Now we are home and will watch some Christmas movies that we have missed.

We did enjoy a great meal at home.

We brought Gus to the kennel so he will not be scared by the expected fireworks and firecrackers in the neighborhood. We will miss him this evening.

We just got home from a quick weekend trip to see my family in NY. We’re tired and will just hang out at home. Dh wants to watch a football game so that’s about it for us.

Pretty normal day except I'll stay up for Midnight. We went out for dinner at a local Diner. Which has been one of our local go-tos for New Year's Eve or Valentine's Day.

Went to local concert venue The Birchmere to see The Seldom Scene. Apparently they have been playing there on New Years Eve for 28 years. We had fun, they are a good bluegrass band made up mostly of old guys. Home by 10:30, didn’t walk down to the waterfront to see the midnight fireworks because of my sprained ankle.
