We are watching from home!I feel the same way.
We are going to the football game this afternoon. We always have Chinese food for dinner which we will eat upon our return and then will watch the NYE shows on tv along with football.
Oh no. Hope you are all well soon!No plans...the flu has wreaked havoc in my household since December 16th. My little Godson went into the hospital with flu complications and is still recovering (he's home now.) My aunt's flu turned into Pneumonia and she went into the hospital the day after Christmas and just came home two days ago, with oxygen. I had to go to urgent care yesterday because of pain in my left ear, which turned out to be an abscess caused by the flu, that I'm now treating with antibiotics. If I don't improve in a few days *I'm* supposed to go to the hospital. Sheesh!!
So yeah, I'll be staying home and looking after my aunt and myself. What a close to 2023!
It’s better than not being able to mark time passing and being dead. My mother in law is 89. She says to “live well because you are a long time deid.” Wise woman. There are two days on the calendar that I find very depressing - My birthday and New Year's Eve. I try not to celebrate either one, so it’s just an ordinary day for me. I don’t enjoy marking the passing of time . . .
I never had my old lady nap so I will never be able to stay awake.Staying in with DH and DS. (And kitties). Only novelty will be staying up past my bedtime![]()
