I am okay about it. I am not a football fan but my parents were when I was at home. They were Colts and then Ravens. So a game was on every week. But just their team. Then I married a football fanatic who mostly loves college football (his team is Ohio State but he watches ALL the games). Then as we got older and had more free time with kids growing up and going off, he watched more and more pro too. And Fantasy Football didn't help. He started playing with work group and that made him watch ALL the games of pro too. So...he hogs the TV all fall and winter and we also have to plan around certain games. So it kinda sucks in that way. But he likes to go out to watch games at places and I like not cooking so I benefit from that. And it's time we spend together. I still know very little about football (rules and plays) and really don't care to know a lot but am learning lately. And I do like the personal side. We watched that show, Quarterback, together and I liked that. I like the personal shows they sometimes do on players or coaches on hardships and whatnot. I like competition too and we are a sports family. So I am okay. He is always very excited and counts down the days. When our kids were young and we were busy, I dreaded football season a bit. But now we have lots of time for hobbies this is his so I am okay with it.
