The older I get, the less I care. I have never been interested in college football, I do follow NFL scores with mild interest (grew up in Cleveland, lived in Pittsburgh for 35 years after college, now live in DC area) but don't have strong feelings much - except I always hope the Browns beat the Steelers.

My son plays pop warner which I love watching, and we watch the NFL all season long. He watches college and I'll occasionally watch that with him(there are so many teams I lose track though) It's a thing in our house lol

I dislike football season. I'm not a fan of the sport myself, but DH is, so I'm a "football widow"... plus DH is a loud football-watcher. :rotfl: I try to plan Sunday afternoon outings for myself.

We are giants fans (except ds25, colts). He and dd27 participat in fantasy football. The only college we watch is Rutgers and Clemson (our other kids didn’t go to big football schools).

Couldn’t care less about football season. Not a fan of football at all. But, we went to every game to watch our son play during his 4 years of high school. Good weather and bad. And went to home games for our grandsons too. Loved watching them play🙂

LOL. I nearly didn't care enough about football to respond to the poll.

Used to love watching college football, but lost interest. I'll sometimes watch the Super Bowl, but more for the friends and food than the game. I usually don't even know the teams until that weekend.

Although, if something comes on (Prime), I might watch it. Football is the one game I do know most of the rules for.

I'm okay with it. I like the Bears, still celebrating '85/'86 here, 38 years ago, haha. No concerns about other pro teams nor college. Okay, lets go get KC. :scratchin

This is the frustrating time of year for me. Weekend before last there were 20 College Football games on the TV at the same time. I like playing football, I like playing football video games* but what these College and Pro teams are playing now is NOT the football I grew up with. And I sure don't want to watch it on TV.

*Got to the point my son and his friends would not play video game football against me. They were very much into the mindset that dominated College and Pro football today, and I am NOT. They couldn't defend against me because I never did the expected thing. And I usually ended up scoring over 100 points, so it makes me question whether College and Pro football teams should scrap the mind set of plays that gain a few yards and focus on plays that score points.

I have mixed feelings about it. We watch college football, more specifically SEC. The mixed feelings is because we live in Athens, GA (technically right outside it) which is home to University of Georgia. On home game Saturdays we locals know to stay away from town. We live in a subdivision that the only way to get out of is to get on one of the main roads from Atlanta to Athens so game day Saturdays we can't even go the opposite direction except for during the game. Hubby watches the games, I don't (the family is convinced I'm bad luck). If the town didn't get so crazy on home game weekends, I'd enjoy it more. UGA football is sort of in my DNA though - Daddy and Mama both went there, one of brothers did, hubby did and my son did. So here is the legal requirement for anyone who lives in the Athens area - Go Dawgs!

I have little interest in football, although I grew up in a household where both of my parents were big fans and very vocal rooters for their team, LOL. Like others, I attended high school games back in the day, as a member of the marching band. DH and DS don’t care about it either, but will occasionally watch a game here and there, and the Super Bowl, with friends.

I was excited before the Bengals started 0-2.
Oh Cincy is in shock and worry over here. Some fans are trying to stay optimistic, others are saying why did they pay Joe all that 💵 money. Lol, because he is good! (duh)

And of course when he limped off the field yesterday they really freaked.

I just live here as a Steelers fan, watching them squirm. (My team looked downright pitiful last week, so I can’t trash talk. 😉)

We are Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket holders, but I don’t care that much. I enjoy the tailgate and the atmosphere of the games, but it really doesn’t matter much to me if we win or lose. My DH cares a lot though and will watch almost any football game—but not me, if my team isn’t playing, I’m not watching.

Geaux LSU Tigers, and Who Dat!
and unless the Titans are playing the Saints, will generally root for them since we've been in TN for 15 years. DH is in an NFL fantasy football league again, so kinda watching for that
Also since I was born into a family of Alabama Tide supporters, generally follow them as well....unless they're playing LSU.
My son and husband also follow 'football' from across the pond. DH follows Arsenal, and DS is an Everton fan

I'm a huge NFL fan and I do watch some college, mostly Ohio State:)
My 96 y/o Mom watches all the games including all the relevant college games. She knows who the up and coming stars are in college, and watches all the NFL games with a complete sports package. She is amazing:)
When I watch NFL, I watch and do other stuff too (if the game is slow) like reading, crocheting, emailing, etc.
I am from Minnesota and once again, the Vikings stink. I have about given up on them because it's the same thing every year: ie: They might be ahead until the half and then lose a big lead every game......I like Kurt Cousins and think he is a fabulous quarterback, but he really needs someone to catch the ball! My husband doesn't care for football and finds other things to do for the 10 hours I watch on Sundays, and Monday night, and Thursday night, LOL.
Yea for football season:)

OK, personally not a fan of the use of 'geaux' for go, and no idea what team Who Dat refers to, don't the Bengals use Who Dey?, but I do know Cousins' first name is Kirk. :)
