🏈 ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?! 🏈

Who’s excited that the 2023 football season has begun?
If you watch football, what level of football do you enjoy watching?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..I am not a football fan at all :sad2: What inspired me to do this poll, is my DH watching the Bears/Tampa Bay game yesterday and participating in the yearly Fantasy Football league my neighbor runs every year. After each game, the guys participate in a group text and my DH’s phone goes crazy. It’s fun watching them have fun. My DH only watches pro football. My DD20 loves watching college and pro football (college more).

Nope - not a football fan and I don’t track with it at all. A quick scan of the sports page on my news feed informs me the CFL (Canadian football) is in full-swing. Who knew? I am, however, counting the days until basketball tips off. :teeth: It’s been a looong golf season for my beloved Toronto Raptors.

I voted as excited about it. I don't really watch much of it myself, but it seems like fun. DH follows every level from HS to pro. I am usually in and out of the room when it is on TV. I did see some of yesterday's game. It was fun seeing the Colts win their first (and possibly only) win this year.

I like football especially at the collegiate level. Even tho I'm in the Big Ten area I like to root for the SEC teams. :cheer2:

Nope not my sport ! Only watch Super Bowl for the commercials otherwise not interested but enjoy your season !!

Not a fan of football. I don't watch it or talk about it.
Both kids are into it and go to local places to watch games.

Seattle Seahawks for both of them and Washington State Cougars for DD.

We are HUGE fans in our house. Multiple, multiple, multiple fantasy teams. Lots of streaming services at home and on phones so NO game is missed. It is pretty much a holiday every Thurs, Sun, Mon in our house from August - Feb. Love it!

ETA - we started watching collegiate in the last 2 years, too, but this is the first year we actually sit down and intentionally watch it on Saturdays, if time allows. And, we follow local high school ball, too.

I'm a big fan of college and a casual NFL fan. In the past, I would sit down and watch football all Saturday, but I swear the commercials have gotten worse, so now I'll only watch a few select games each weekend.

Yes, this house enjoys football, collegiate and pro. Even though our teams (Michigan State, Arizona State, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Steelers) aren't starting off well.

Dh and dd both are in fantasy football leagues. I used to be, but I realized I just enjoyed watching my teams, and not particular players.

I don't care for football, so I don't watch. Thankfully, neither does my husband.

My daughter was in the high school marching band (and so was my nephew, only one year overlap), so I sat through 7-years of high school football games to watch the half-time and post-game shows.

I kind of "follow" our local college team because most of the city are HUGE fans... and whether they win/lose dictates how crabby people will be that week. Thankfully, it seems to be not-quite-as-bad-as-it-used-to-be.
