I saw MI 1, that's it.
Yep, which is why the second one was so bad. It could have been ANY generic action movie. It's like they used a mask in a scene to meet enough quota to call it a Mission: Impossible movie. Also, I think the other big issue is that they moved to be such big, action movies, but M:I should be more of a spy movie, with fewer explosions and more intrigue. I think the recent James Bond movies suffer from this as well.
It's the stunts: I think jumping from high distances is supposed to shake off all those body thetans. /ScientologyTom has aged out of his characters, he is 61. If he played something age appropriate and believable maybe, but I struggle with him being retirement age and playing these same roles.![]()
I've seen only the first one. I can't stand watching Tom Cruise, but I made an exception for this movie. I'm sorry I did.
You don't make a Mission Impossible movie and then make the villain Jim Phelps. That's like making a Star Trek movie and having Jim Kirk betray the Federation.
Same here.None not a fan of Tom ymmv and that’s ok !
