I apologize in advance…..this is going to be a difficult poll for many of you today :headache:

Let’s set up a scenario…..You’re part of a group that has to decide which WDW Icon has to go. You don’t know the reason why, all you know is that one has to go. What do you do?:faint: Tell us….

Which WDW Icon do you vote for that has to go?

*There is no “other” today. Even if you haven’t been to WDW, you probably have a good idea of what each icon is and can still vote.

For Me…..This was actually not that difficult for me. I love Tower of Terror, but if I gotta choose which one has to go, this is what gets my vote. I would never choose the others, because they are the main symbol of the park they are in. IMO, ToT is not the symbol of HS, the Grauman’s Chinese Theater is the main icon in HS (to be honest, many would disagree, but I loved the big sorcerer hat in HS back in the day).

Tower of Terror- I mean it looks cool but it’s a ride I’ll never ride and it’s not the icon of the park so if somethings Gotta go it’s going to be that!

ToT is the current icon of the park - well, technically The Hollywood Tower Hotel is the icon and the Tower of Terror is the ride inside of it. I love it personally, but of the four it is probably the easiset to say good-bye to as the park is less dependent on it.

I thought about TOT because it's the least iconic, but I ultimately voted Spaceship Earth because we always skip it anyway. 🙁 (DH thinks it's just there to suck crowds, so he won't do it on the way in, and is always too tired in the way out.)

Spaceship earth, but only because it was the only one on the list we didn't do on our one visit to WDW.

I voted Tree of Life. I agree that ToT is the "least iconic," but I like the ride. We always ride Spaceship Earth at some point on our trips, and... well... Cinderella Castle is non-negotiable. That leaves Tree of Life. AK is probably my least favorite park. I find it confusing to navigate, and I do not love It's Tough to be a Bug. I'd be sad to get rid of anything on the list, but that one would make me the least sad!

Tower of Terror

For starters, I don't see it as the park's iconic structure. It didn't exist the first couple of times I visited that park. Secondly, while I think it's an extremely well themed attraction, I hate free fall rides. Rollercoasters with big drops are fine, but the anxiety over when we'll drop and how far we'll drop is really stressful. I'll ride ToT if DD15 insists, but I just do it so she doesn't ride alone.

Tower of Terror, easy. Never ridden it, don't have any desire to, and HS is my least favorite park (though I haven't been there in a long time and the star wars stuff may change that).

Tower of Terror... if it's gone, my bad kids won't talk me into going on it again just to hear me whimper, whine, and scream my head off. "Mom, you look the same in every photo!" (Yes, I am a little hesitant choosing ToT because THEY enjoy it so much, but still....)

Tree of Life for me. Even though it serves as AK iconic structure it doesn’t mean as much to me as the other three. ToT is my wife’s favorite ride so I could never vote to remove it!!!
