What is your opinion of spinach on pizza?
If you enjoy this….does it matter what type of sauce is with it?

For Me…..I love spinach on pizza, but I only order it on a deep dish or stuffed pizza (remember….I’m from the Chicago area). I only order pizza with red sauce. I don’t dislike white sauce, I just don’t like it enough to order an entire pizza with it.

*inspiration for today’s poll is me getting a deep dish spinach and mushroom pizza last night.

Yes, I don’t get it often but I do like it. The pizza window at BWI/BWV used to do a pie with roasted garlic, spinach and mushrooms that was soooooo good. It depends on the pizzeria whether I prefer red sauce or a white pizza.

My favorite white pizza from a local spot has spinach, broccoli rabe, ricotta and garlic. LOVE spinach on my pizza!

Edited to add a deep dish with red sauce and spinach is now added to my mental list to try. That sounds delicious!!!!

The only white sauce pizza I've ever heard of was Lou Malnati's some time back. I don't see them talking about it currently. I've never had white sauce. As for the spinach, I think the only times I've had that is on a vegetarian pizza from Buona. And then it's only a few leaves, can't really even discern the spinuch taste.

I do like it, but only on what we call around here (NY/NJ)....a "white pie".....a pizza with one or two white cheeses as a base (like ricotta and mozzarella), olive oil, spinach...usually a lot of garlic. Very tasty.

It's not somethign I would ever order, but it's fine if it's on there. I do like a pizza with a lot of veggies, so if it had spinach, black olive,s onons, peppers, I'd be fine with that.

Love spinach on pizza, then you can claim it's healthy! I've had it with red sauce, pesto, or garlic butter sauce.

Yes, this is the only kind I’ve had, very common here. Haven’t seen spinach with red sauce, though I would like that too.
