Saw Inside Out when it came out. Rewatched it Friday night. Then went to The Drive-In Saturday night to see Inside Out 2. I loved it.

Unfortunately, I identify most with Anxiety. I think they did a great job with that character in the movie.

We saw it yesterday for Father’s Day and loved it.

I am a mix of Joy, anxiety and at times embassassment.

I’m tired of remakes, prequels, sequels, live action versions, etc. are there no original ideas? I don’t plan to go but may catch it on tv later, although I haven’t seen the first one so….

If I were to see sequel it would probably be despicable me before inside out.
I don’t mind a sequel if they take the time to come up with a good story and not just ride on the laurels of the first movie. It can be very enjoyable to visit with your favorite characters again so long as they aren’t just reliving the first story a second time. I agree with you about remakes and live action films that simply rehash the same old story over and over. Allow your characters to grow and learn from new experiences.

I haven’t seen the first Inside Out, so I think I would have to do that before watching #2. I don’t know if I am interested enough to do that.

I have ssen neither movies. Apparently a lot of people did see the new this weekend, $155 million domestic, $295 million globally for the weekend. Most since Barbie last summer.

I'd go with Joy, or at least I try to be. :sunny: I can be that snarky little Disgust when I've run out of patience tho. :rolleyes2

I have seen Inside Out, but it's a funny story how. One of the classes in my schedule is an intervention class where some kids go to work with other teachers in small groups. The kids who didn't need the extra help stayed with me and worked on a computer program. To motivate the kids (because they hated the computer program), we watched movies on Friday as long as everybody had their minutes completed for the week. Inside Out was one of the movies they chose to watch. However, they hated Sadness. Sadness created sadness in them.... you should have heard the moans and groans for her scenes! :rotfl2:

I wasn't crazy about the first one, but my daughter saw Two this weekend and said it was great! Said she thought it was much better than the first(which she did like) -but this one she loved.

Love Inside Out and have been eagerly anticipating the sequel for years. And best of all, it lived up to my high expectations. I'll probably see it a second time tomorrow evening.

I saw it on Saturday with my wife and our two boys, 11 and 8. I thought it was very well done and had some great lines, there were a couple moments that seemed to drag to me. Both of my kids liked it and I really appreciated the whole message, emotions are complicated and even more so during puberty. I probably won't watch it again for 4 or 5 years but I'm glad I went and saw it once.

I enjoyed the first one and plan to see it on Disney +. I honestly don’t go to the movies anymore. I strive for Joy am a lot of anxiety

We saw Inside Out in theaters when it came out. Awesome movie. Saw Inside Out 2 last night and it was just as good as the first movie. Both movies made me cry. Their depiction of a panic attack was spot on. Really really wonderful movie.
