Do you use hotel shampoo & conditioner?

Depending on the product manufacturer, I might use the shampoo (I find most are too drying for my hair), but I bring my own conditioner to combat any bad effects from the shampoo.

I always have some small bottles packed just in case, but I use the hotel products. Some family members always bring their own hair products to use.

I only wash my hair about once a week unless I'm in the pool or at the beach in the summer (per the advice of my hairdresser). I have travel sizes of shampoo and conditioner that I prefer that I keep in the toiletry bag. My hair is dry so I need some extra products and a hair straightener when I do wash it. DH uses whatever the hotel supplies. He's not picky and shaves his head so it's not really an issue. We spend two nights a week at my parents very frequently and in the summer we are down the shore most weekends so I just keep a stocked toiletry bag so I don't need to continually pack it.

I also keep a bag packed with toiletries including my own shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothpaste etc. My hair is colored and highlighted and I use Bumble & Bumble products 75% of the time. Most hotel product is very drying, the H2O stuff turns my hair into unmanageable straw. I wash my hair 2-3x a week, unless I go in the pool or beach, so only need a small travel size container for vacation.

There is an Estée Lauder factory near me that opens on Saturdays to sell off overstock and those product giveaway bags from retail promotions. I go once or twice a year to stock up on discounted full size as well as travel size merchandise.

Love the WDW H2O shampoo. I hoard that and use it when I travel other places.

Most of the time, will use the hotel stuff. Sometimes I'll bring my own/use it. I'm in the minority of folks as I dislike the Disney shampoo. I really don't like that smell, so I try to bring my own to Disney, but will use it if I forget....the lotion, and body wash/soap at Disney are good

have a great trip!!! you'll be missed!

When my mom and I stayed at Marriott hotels we noticed that they had Paul Mitchell shampoo as their hotel shampoo and we used it and our hair smelled great and me and my mother had never ever tried Paul Mitchell haircare products before and we liked them. Holiday Inns uses Watkins Shampoos as their hotel shampoos which delighted my mom because my grandmother used to get Watkins products when my mom was growing up

I would dare say "never"... I always pack my own. I guess if I was desperate and forgot my own, I would use it. I cannot think of any occasions in the past where I ever did.

Depends on what's in the hotel room. I have fine, flimsy hair and the old H2O products never cut it for me. On top of that, I have really sensitive skin so I need to be careful. Last year I used some products that were in a Marriott hotel and ended up with a rash on my face the entire trip. Ugh. But in the first phote, those Zero products were in the Homewood Suites I stayed in and I really like them.
