My preference is white meat for both turkey and chicken. I often buy just a turkey or chicken breast, however, once in awhile I eat chicken thighs/legs.

For chicken I'm fine with both but usually cook white more than dark. For turkey slices I prefer white. For ground turkey it is OK if it is a mix. I use that for meatloaf or tacos.
