My dad was in the Air Force, stationed in England. My grandfather was a sailor in WW II, my great-grandfather was in the army in WW I and I have traced my great-great-great grandfather's service in the Union Army during the Civil War.

My father and his brothers were in the Army during WWII. My father was in various locations in Europe, but not involved in D-Day. I heard that one brother was in Pearl Harbor AFTER December 7, 1941.
