For Me……Don’t hate me super fans, but I do not like this movie - at all - not even a tiny bit. I tried watching it before, but couldn’t finish it, so last night I decided to try it again, and I did finish it. I want to like it, but I just can’t do it. Sorry TNBC fans - I give it two and I will not be watching it again

Our DD LOVES it. Says it's because of the neat stop-motion animation. I had to inform her that Ray Harryhausen was the expert in that technique in the 50s.

I'm with you, Slo; I tried to watch it but never got in to it at all.

Well, I tried to watch it maybe 15 years ago and couldn’t get through the first 5 minutes. Then I went on a DCL Halloween cruise and they were showing it in the main theater late. I decided to give it another chance, and I liked it. This was during early sailings after Covid, so social distancing pictures!

The movie holds absolutely no appeal to me at all -to each his own it’s just not for me so not a fan and can’t understand the cult following for this movie but then again there’s some movies that I absolutely love that I’m sure people think they’re nothing but garbage so again to each his own

I've watched it. It was okay. Not one of my favorites or one of the worst.
I don't think I have watched it more than once.
And I don't buy the merchandise.

BUT....I do really like the Haunted Mansion Holiday version at Disneyland

The first time I tried to watch it years ago I didn't make it thru the entire thing. I hated it. I recently made myself watch it because so many people in my life love it. I still really didn't like it

While I do like the movie just fine, I actually really like the soundtrack. I'll find myself listening to the wonderful Danny Elfman songs way more often than watching the movie, which I actually rarely do.

I saw most of it or maybe even all of it years ago when my dd had her friend sleepover and I sat and watched it with them. Even though now I don’t remember it at all I remember not liking it.

I love it! We don't watch it at home, but go to a theater to see it (in 4D!) every October. We've seen it performed live at the Hollywood Bowl twice. Super fun!

I could take it or leave it. I have seen the whole movie - probably twice now, and possibly will again this month at some point.
I still can't tell if it's supposed to be a Halloween or Christmas movie BUT I lean towards Halloween.

I have seen it like twice... nope don't like it.

I remember seeing it when it was pretty new, I thought the title was cute and was excited to see it. I remember watching it and being like

Fast forward many years. I have met so many people who are big fans, and you see all the merchandise for it. So within the past few years, I decided to try it again. I thought maybe before I just didn't give it a chance or something. (I have seen things before that I did not like the first viewing, and upon seeing it again I liked it). NOPE, didn't like it.
