As luck would have it, I got an update from Ancestry this morning. The largest ethnic group I was previously linked to is completely gone, broken down into 6 smaller sub-ethnic groups. So I am no longer primarily Czech, which of all the 14 regions I am linked to is the only one anyone in my family ever had any ties to. And those were very very limited. While I am truly Heinz 57, first generation, American with ZERO ties to indigenous population. My father immigrated here with his parents in 1912. My mother's father immigrated here about the same year, although her mother was born in North Dakota, in a huge Czech community, and immigrated to Canada.
