For Me……I have to work today, so I sadly won’t be watching. If I was home I would be watching - it doesn’t matter to me who’s being sworn into office. I find our countries Inauguration Day events very interesting and historical. I won’t record it, but I will watch the clips on the news, and probably watch anything abc has on Hulu later.

This is me. I can’t remember the last one I watched (maybe Obama?) but there is usually enough coverage to catch the highlights if I choose to.

I think I’ve only ever watched maybe one a long time ago back in the 90s but I do see clips of it when I watch the evening news which I hardly ever miss the evening news

I'll watch a bit. Can't avoid it around here. This is local news in my area. I live in the burbs between DC and Baltimore. So our roads and public transportation are messed up today. We're all off from work and school for MLK day.

On a normal MLK day, DH and I will take the kids into the city and visit a museum. But the Metro is all messed up with closed stations for security.

Visiting Baltimore would have been a possibility, but we had some snow and ice last night. So we'll spend the day clearing the ice so we can go to work tomorrow, etc.

Anyway, I'm watching the local Fox affiliate for morning news, they're switching back and forth from inauguration and MLK related news.

I'm a huge history geek, so it doesn't matter the party. I always watch anything with all the pomp. We're off work today for MLK day and it's like 5 degrees outside, so.... I'll probably have the TV on it as I take care of a few things around the house.

It’s always a very important day in US history. My dad is retired Old Guard and was involved in several ceremonies. Yes, of course I will be watching.
