HAPPY HALLOWEEN!



It’s time to bring out that Halloween candy.
I don’t have any trick or treaters, so I never buy any, which is good for my waist line. My neighbors DD still goes trick or treating, and when she comes back, she knows who to give what to. For me…it’s the small plain Hershey bars. For my neighbor….its always Almond Joys (luckily she doesn’t like either and happily gives us all of them - LOL). Give us your spooky sweet answer today…..

For Me…..,As I mentioned above, I do love plain Hershey bars and another favorite are the small boxes of Nerds - I love shooting the entire box in my mouth I’ve loved it since I was a kid - my mom would buy them and have to hide them . My neighbors DD will give me a few of those too

I'll go with chocolate bars. A lot of the others there are good but much prefer chocolate, Hershey or Mars, any of them are fine.

My favourites aren’t in your list - delicious, soft molasses kisses and rockets, which you good folks in America mistakenly identify as smarties.

We don’t celebrate Halloween and there’s zero chance we’ll get any trick-or-treaters, so I buy mine as soon as they show up in stores. I’ve already eaten my share of both for the season.

I know I will be in the minority here, but I much prefer dark chocolate over milk which you hardly ever see at Halloween.

I always buy a mixture - I get a mixture of chocolate bars and then I get a mixture of like nerds Laffy taffy and things like that so that way the kids can pick if they want the chocolate or they want the other stuff or if they want one of each the kids take two pieces
I get somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 kids or more depending on weather I live in a very big subdivision and each house has at least 2 to 3 kids - luckily for me I’m in the middle of the subdivision so I don’t get all the kids because if I did it would be close to 700 not kidding

I only eat dark chocolate, so not all bars. For a regular bar, my favorite is Midnight Milky Way.

Chocolate for sure. Snickers and Canadian Kit Kat our my favourite.

Snickers and Mars but they only do bite size here now so I buy the Kit Kat, Aero , Smartie and Coffee crisp box. We bought early so they didn’t last in the house so bought another box.

My Trick or treaters will get one chocolate and one sour patch type thing. We used to get over hundred now we might get 50.

Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. I have them in “supposedly” the shapes of vampire bats and jack-o-lanterns but the difference between the photos on the bags and the candy is comparable to the difference in those old magazine ads for “Sea Monkeys” and the actual product.
