I am punctual. As @soccerdad72 said above, my wife, Marie, is not. Drives me batty if I'm involved. I was taught Lombardi Time, similar Falcon time that @BrianL mentioned earlier. 15 minutes early is on time. 5 minutes early is 10 minutes late. 53 years of running my day with appointments with clients has me be very punctual, and always a bit early. If with Marie, late, with her texting or calling whomever.

If I'm going someplace that is more than a 5 minute drive, I will always check in my Waze app, even if I know exactly how to get there, to get a real time drivetime update, including potential current traffic issues. More than once Waze has routed me around bottlenecks.

A prolific poster on the DIS - the famous Robo - used to advise regarding rope-drop at Disney, that it was better to be 2 hours too early than 2 minutes too late. It makes a difference. That's why I'm always on that first bus out. 😁

Usually 5-15 minutes early because I hate to be late and you never know about traffic around here!

I'm a very punctual person. If there is an appointment time, I will be early. If it's a social gathering -- I will be there pretty much on time or a little after in order to give the host time to get things going. It can be difficult on the host, if people arrive too early while they are still getting setup etc...

I have zero tolerance these days for friendships where the other person is habitually late with no good reason. I cut a person out a few years ago, because it became down right rude on several occasions.

I'm very punctual and usually always early - not by half hour but tend to be a good 10-15 minutes where possible. I get incredibly frustrated with people that are chronically late, especially for no reason. And people that accept morning meetings at work and can't manage to log on in time drive me crazy!

My wife and I were always punctual before we had kids.
We were always 10 minutes late once we had kids.
Kids are grown, we are back to being punctual again.
Although some people find punctual people annoying.
Exception being my Financial Planner. He moved to a new office and called to confirm we were coming as we were walking in the door after searching his maze of a new building for his office. We were right on time though.
