I voted differently for inside and outside. -

I have my (inside) fall stuff up now, and will add in the Halloween-specific things (including my favorite string of pumpkin lights!) after October 1st.

My outside porch stuff is really just for trick-or-treat, so it won't go out until a day or two before Halloween.

There's one house down the street that has a ton of big outdoor Halloween stuff, and they started at the end of August! It just keeps steadily growing.

I picked, "I decorate some years." However, the better answer is I no longer decorate but may start again in the future. Honestly, the Christmas stockings never got taken down last year so I can't be bothered.

Well, we used to not decorate so much. Then we had a few years where we did quite a bit (mock graveyard, spooky scarecrow, green lights, cobwebs, assorted pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, and ghosts) from the sidewalk to the door. Now we're back to a minimum around the door.

I never decorate. Our house sits back off the road with a lot of trees in front so you don’t really see much from the road. We don’t have any neighbors and rarely people over to the house except family so why bother for just my husband and myself.

I haven't had children trick or treat in the homes I've lived in the past 3 years but I decorate inside just for myself as it's fun to look at!

I don't decorate for Halloween, just for the fall season in general. That stuff usually stays up until the day or weekend after Thanksgiving then I put up some Christmas stuff. I'm not anti Halloween, I just never really got into it. My BIL goes ALL OUT. His entire yard is done up and inside his house, too.

Like @PollyannaMom, I voted differently for inside and outside. I got the bins out of the attic last weekend and did the inside stuff. Most of it is more fall themed than Halloween, but I did put everything up. I will take down the Halloween specific items right after Halloween, but the fall things will stay up until Thanksgiving.

I haven’t done anything outside yet. Most of my outside things are Halloween specific and it seems a little early. Also, I usually buy some mums, but my summer planters are looking fabulous right now and I hate to rip them out. Maybe I’ll skip the mums this year.

I love decorating. I think I’d do it even if no one but me ever saw it. It’s part of what makes me enjoy my home.

We live on a main road where a lot of outdoor decorations in other people's yards have been destroyed, so we don't decorate the outside.

Since it looks like another rainy weekend for us, I may get a jumpstart on decorating the inside this weekend.

I already have stuff inside and out. I like to make a fun house to visit for the grandkids. Plus I was cranky one day so put stuff up to shake off summer and get cheerful. It worked!

We usually put our Halloween decor up around Columbus Day weekend. Mostly indoor, with just a wreath outside on the door. I live in a city row house and we had some outdoor decorations vandalized/stolen some years back so we don’t do it anymore.

We used to decorate some. Then the trick-or-treater numbers kept dwindling. We haven't decorated for many, many years. After multiple years (even before COVID) of less than 3 kids who came to our door, and 2 years of 0 kids, we don't even bother turning the light on anymore.

I don't do anything inside other than a plastic pumpkin at the front window. Outside is pretty limited limited, just 2 garden flags.

It's spooky season, which means we're traveling to different haunts and/or going to HHN for several weeks each year, so we're not home enough to justify too much decorating. This year we'll be in Orlando for a full month, so the Halloween village is going with us. Never outdoor decorations for any season, since the porch pirates would steal them in a second.
