Today is Friday the 13th……SCARY :scared1: :rotfl:
With it being Friday the 13th, I’m curious today with how many of us have seen any Friday the 13th movies. Some of us like horror movies and some of us don’t. Where do you fall into this, in regards to the Friday the 13th movies…….

Have you seen any of the Friday the 13th Movies?
If yes…..which ones?
(multiple choice)

For Me…….i have seen none. I was always a Freddy Krueger fan, not a Jason fan. I haven’t watched a horror movie in over 25 years - no desire. As I look into my future, I never see a day where I’ll watch a Friday the 13th movie :sad2:

Love horror movies used to watch them all when I was younger and we would go to the drive in dusk until dawn horror movie nights !! Great fun !! You know me and my love of Stephen King so bring on the dark horror movies !!!
I’ve seen several of the Friday 13th but not all of them .

I know I've seen the first 3 Friday the 13th movies. I do enjoy a good late 70s/early 80s slasher flick. The later ones seemed too cheesy. I'm fond of the earlier Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween films as well.

On this tangent, my daughter and I watched a pretty solid "new" slasher flick a few months ago, Thanksgiving. It's got Patrick Dempsey. Not too shabby.

I am not a huge fan of that kind of horror. I know I have probably seen some of them, but really I have seen bits and peices. I have a friend who loves them, so he will have them on at his house sometimes. I did actually get dragged to see Freddy v. Jason in the theater if that counts. I'm still not into it.

I used to love horror movies, but Friday the 13th was never a favorite. I've seen the original several times and seen a couple of the sequels, but I lean towards Halloween with the iconic slasher type figures. Even that's played out and tired. I don't seem to enjoy these films the way I used to (maybe it's because of the kids), but I do still have a soft spot for a lot of the classic 70s horror genre movies.

I know I've seen 1-5, maybe 6, and did see 8 set in NY. I watched ALL that junk back in the day, and I saw at least one of them at the theater.....somehow I've not see Freddy vs Jason....
Also haven't watched the TV series. Don't watch horror like this anymore, although did suffer through the last 3 Halloweens just to complete, they were dreadful.

Saw the original in a theater when it first came out. I was in high school and went with a group of friends. Haven’t seen any of the sequels. Not a fan of horror/slasher movies.

Yes, regrettably I have seen a couple of them. I saw the first one by myself, and found it to be quite disturbing. The other one, was one of those sequels and was w/other people and it was a bit easier because people were talking, doing commentaries, and making fun of things.

I just do not see how people can find that sort of thing entertaining.

No, have not seen any of them. Don't like the contemporary styles of 'horror' movies, slasher, gore, gratuitous violence for violence sake. Guess I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to horror movies, which seem to have gone out of style by the 60's or so.

I know I have seen some of them, but not a clue as to which one. They aren't my thing, but growing up as a teen in the late 80's, it was almost a given some horror movie would be shown at a sleepover.

I’ve seen them all. Also watched all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I’ve also watched Freddie vs Jason.

I also have this T-shirt for Halloween season

The first Friday the 13th movie is a must @slo . It even has Kevin Bacon in it.

Thank you for your very creative thank yous every week ❤️

The key to any horror movie @slo , is to turn off the sound and play Disney music in the background. Honestly, the deaths in the first one are predictable, so it's easy to know when to look away from the tv screen.
