It’s Friday, which means many of us may enjoy a glass of wine today or sometime this weekend. The love of drinking wine seems to get more and more every day, and it seems like women drink more wine than men. I see a lot of people every day and many of those people, who are women, talk about how they love their wine and drink it throughout the week, but on Mondays I hear how they enjoyed their wine over the weekend. So I looked it up and found this…..

So let’s talk about how much you love your wine and how often you drink it…..

Are you a male or female wine drinker?
If yes…..how often?
(multiple choice)

For Me……..I’m not much of a wine drinker. I buy a large bottle for Christmas Day, but outside of that, I don’t drink it, I’m very wine ignorant too, I have no idea what’s good to eat with what food. When my DH and I go out to dinner for special occasions I’ll always get a couple martinis - those I love! I’ll have to do a poll about that sometime soon.

Don't drink wine. Don't like the taste.

Don't really drink any alcoholic beverages. Again, don't really like the taste. So many people say "you can't taste the alcohol", well there is definitely something I taste that makes me not care for it. lol

I drink wine 🍷 I have been to probably 20 food and wine festivals at Disney I’ve read several books on wine it took me several years to figure out what wines I like and which ones I just don’t care for it doesn’t stop me from trying new ones
I don’t drink wine every day but I don’t limit it to just on the weekends I just drink it when I’m in the mood to have some wine
I don’t always pick wine when I’m out sometimes I have a mixed drink sometimes I have a beer or sometimes I have wine but I’m very picky on my wine so if you don’t have my particular wine that I want then I will have a mixed drink but I’m just as picky on those and what alcohol goes into those as I am for my wine same thing goes for the beer I’m just as picky on those as I am on everything else I don’t take the bar liquor I will name my liquor for my mixed drink
I don’t worry about what wine goes with what if it’s the wine I like then it goes with my meal that’s my philosophy

I have an occasional glass of wine, my favorite is Riesling. I don’t know very much about wine, especially like what kind goes well with certain foods. I just know that if I like the taste I will drink it😁

I drink wine - red only - but fall outside of the options listed. Less than several times a week, more than sometimes during the year. In general probably 2-3 times a month maybe? Unless we're on a Disney cruise and got the wine package with dinner, and then it is definitely "several times a week."

I am an oenophile. I love wine and learning about it.

For my 35th birthday, I gave myself a passive wine cellar. If it was fully stocked, I could store 900 bottles. I currently have ~150.

I have two bottles from Moldova, when we were in Russia that we bought when we adopted our kids in 2001. I have no idea if they will be drinkable when they get married, or if they will be vinegar, but that was the idea. At least I know they have been stored properly for all these years.

My DH thinks it's silly that we have a cellar for it, but when he goes to a BYOB restaurant with one of his friends, he always asks me to select a bottle for him to take.

I really don’t drink because of all the medication I take. Wine is big business here. The wineries are busy on the weekends. Dogs are allowed outside at some.
All the ds and wives go and even Dh has a friend who works for a limo company in summer doing day trips, bachelorette parties etc.

:lovestrucLOVE wine - whites, rose, sparkling and always looking for a light, non-fuzzy red to make my go-to with appropriate foods. Alas though, I won’t drink at home alone and DH doesn’t like wine. I also don’t drink around most of our friends who are abstainers, or several family members who are in recovery. That doesn’t leave me many opportunities. On the rare occasion I can cajole DH or find someone more willing to join me on a winery tour or tasting event, I’m in heaven! :cloud9:

I do not drink wine, but I do love a vodka martini...well, only if it's EXTRA dirty! I also like fruity or sweet drinks, but have cut way back in recent years.

I'm not a drinker in general. I'm not morally opposed or anything, but I've never found anything I liked and I've given up trying. I do not know much about wines, but I've tried a number of them (because everyone always said "well, I'm sure you'll like THIS one.") I haven't found any that I like even a little bit. Yuck!

I don't drink wine at all. I use it more as an ingredient for recipes rather than drinking it. I do enjoy other alcoholic beverages like beer though.

I enjoy wine quite a bit although I’ve cut my consumption back quite a bit the last year or so! Many of my past travels(and future) are wine related -always try to find some great local wines and learn about different varietals. I’ve been a long time member of the American Wine Society(look for a chapter near you!) so have sampled quite a bit. I also attained WSET Level 2(Wine & Spirit Education Trust) which is a fairly decent accomplishment. For the wine/Disney lovers, I’d highly recommend a tasting of rare wines at Wine Bar George and maybe this guy will be your server 😉
