Disney On Ice shows are so much fun. I haven’t been to a show in over 10 years. For those that don’t know what Disney On Ice is, this is for you…..

So, let’s talk about this fun show today……

Have you been to a Disney On Ice Show?
If yes…..Did you enjoy it?
When was the last time you saw this show?
(multiple choice)

For Me……We used to go to the yearly Disney On Ice show every year in Chicago. As the girls got older and busy with their activities, we stopped going. I think our last show was maybe 12 years ago. The show is coming to the city my DD21 lives in soon, but we’ll be at WDW. Her and I agreed that next year we are definitely going to this show - we’ve really missed it.

Never been. The only place close to me they would come would be Atlanta, which is about a hour and half away. There isn't much that could lure me to Atlanta so haven't ever gone to see one.

I went once when I wasa kid - that was a long time ago!

I think I've been many years ago. Once....when DD was young. It was okay.

Just got an email that it is close by.....for several months. And expensive.

I went as kid, I took DD20 a few times as a kid, and most recently I took my younger two. I think the last time was 2023. DD7 asked to go this year but I think I was working so we missed it. Probably won’t return as the kids are aging out. We live and CT and for years it was always the second weekend of Jan. and it would be freezing. Ice , wind at 10 degrees. Parking is outside with a few minutes walk. We skipped it after a few years of that. Thankfully, they have switched it to Dec recently.

I took my niece when she was 7. She was not all into it and we left early. She had been to WDW and Paris Disney so I thought she would love it. I have not been back.

I have never been to a Disney on Ice show. Not sure how we missed doing this when the boys were little. We went to Sesame Street Live, Scooby Doo, and Snoopy shows but never Disney.

I've never seen a Disney on Ice show, and our kids weren't terribly interested so we never made the effort.
I did see the Ice Capades in the 80's though!

Never been to Disney on Ice, but my mom loved Ice Capades and we went to that a bunch of times when I was a kid.

Last went a long, long time ago. My kids would have been, well, kids. ;) So probably well over a decade ago.

We always thought about it. In fact, it was in town when we went to visit DD18 at college back in September and thought it might be funny to go after all these years. We didn't...and for similar reasoning why we never did it when they were young. We could put the money into travel extras. When they were young, that might mean an extra character meal during a Disney trip or a special party experience. So no Disney On Ice for us.

I don't think I've ever seen DOI, DW probably took our DDs when they were kids. I'm a Disney fanatic but this type of thing isn't my jam.

It's been a long time ago -90s. It always comes around my birthday in January so I requested that as my present. I think we went a few years. Once I realized the pricing I've deeply thought but haven't been since.

Took DS when he was a little boy, over 20 years ago. I think we saw two of them. One was the Monsters Inc show. We enjoyed it.

YES, it's been a really long time since going!
My kids saw Toy Story, Snow White and Beauty and the Beast.

I still remember my son putting his head in my lap when the henchman was going thru the forest to find snow white. He said "I want to go home". LOL
We bought a Chip cup souvenir that we had forever, too!
Good times!!
I was just mentioning to my daughter "how did we never take my GS to a Disney on Ice".? I guess other things were keeping us busy. He's 10, so now it'd have to be an all Marvel show to get him interested, not much else.

I grew up outside of Boston; as a kid, we'd go to either the Ice Capades or Ice Follies every winter, and I loved it! Haven't been since I was in my early teens, and none of the ice touring shows come up here where we live now.

Huh. Must be an East coast thing. DW wanted to go even before we had kids. When our kids were old enough, we went. I was right - it was dumb. Telling the Disney story while someone dressed as the characters twirls around on the ice does not enhance the story - confirmed..
