I’m going to my friends annual Halloween party tomorrow. It’s a 3 day event that kicks off with dinner tonight and runs through brunch on Sunday. Friends camp at his house for the weekend (they all have restored vw buses for camping). I drive out for the day. I never dress up, but others do. I’m making a caramel apple cheesecake, which I bring every year.

No party for me...I only go to parties when I have absolutely no other choice. :scared1:

No parties for us., thankfully. I can only recall one Halloween party in my adult life. Marie has a cousin. Along with his wife, they LOVE Halloween. Their whole house, inside and out, gets changed over for the season. All the rooms, garage, outside property. They invited us to their Halloween party 11 years ago. Marie said we need to go. So, we went. She said I could make it simple, be a cowboy. So I got a western cowboy had and a red scarf for around my neck. Marie went at a pink poodle skirt teen from the 50's.

I think the cousin and wife are in the middle.

And thank you, Sandy, for another great @slo poll week and for inviting us all to you party here every mooring and helping to make us a part of it.

Being British we ordinarily avoid anything to do with Halloween but this year we will be on a cruise ship in the Caribbean so I suspect it will be impossible to avoid it!!

Thank you for the thank you Dan, and for always participating in my silly little polls :goodvibes

MNSSHP is about the only Halloween party I remember going to since the late 1980s! I am not a fan of Halloween as a holiday- it's way too much hype over nothing, IMO- but boy, did I love a good costume party in my younger days!
@LoveDaisy Thanks for going to a big party and "taking one for the team," so we don't look so antisocial, hahaha!

I don't think I've ever been to a proper Halloween party as an adult.

I will be attending my son's Halloween party in elementary school next week though. 😁

I am going with No + Other. No halloween parties this year, but have done a bonfire party and are going to an outdoor party/cookout today. The theme is just general "fall" not Halloween.

Both Halloween and parties in general are big here. Good opportunity to get creative with adult costume ideas. Big party last night, a number of different categories to win prizes for top costumes. Fun night with a DJ and lots of dancing in costume. Gets better every year.
